I wonder if Howard Wilson will be practicing this week. It's his first chance, since he's been on IR, to practice. I think he'd be able to go after the bye, if so.

When we take Rosen and miss on Barkley it's going to be such a depressing time in my life....

Rosen with absolutely no playmakers to throw to should be awesome to watch next year though....

It's a whole lot easier to find wide receivers (and running backs) than it is to find quarterbacks my friend.

The Browns could easily sign a starting caliber WR in free agency this offseason; be it Jarvis Landry, Allen Robinson, Sammy Watkins, bringing back Terrelle Pryor, Alshon Jeffery among others.

There's about a 0% chance they find a starting caliber QB in free agency.

Why should I like any of these QB's?

I've caught a handful of games of both Rosen and Darnold and I just don't see anything all that exciting.

Rosen especially, reminds me a of of Johnny Football. He freelances a lot in ways that won't fly in the NFL at all. And he's made a dozen inexplicable throws that he's got away with (while already having 8 INT's).

This seems like we are trending to another draft where it doesn't make sense to take a QB #1 overall but we may be forced in to doing so.

Again, maybe I just caught the wrong games of theirs but this draft is a lot less sexy than it was this summer, from the QB position.

The Browns need to take the best QB available when they are called up.

Even if maybe there is a better position player, competent QB play would go a long way for this team. We have the opportunity to pair our QB with a playmaker with the Texans pick. We need to take the chance.

Because I really think we've made mistakes two years in a row in not walking the Wentz or Watson card up to the podium. Even if they wouldn't be in a great situation here, they are both obviously good players.

We just need a good player at QB. It is the most important thing we can possibly do at this point. Garrrett was the right pick over Trubisky...but now we have a Garrett and it's time to get a quarterback that will solidify the position.

At #1...the Browns are going to have a chance to pick the best QB. They better get it right though.

Can't we take playmakers for the QB we have now? How about a defensive star and a playmaker on offense?

It appears they all have good grades for what it's worth, so we (as of right now) won't be really "Reaching" per say.

I'm iffy about these guys, but I'm going to let whomever is picking them do their job and pick someone out. Inevitably we'll hear around combine time who's the clear cut number 1 and who everyone wants at QB.

What QB we have now?

The Browns are dead last as a team in completion percentage, 30th in yards per attempt, dead last in interceptions, dead last in QB rating and dead last in QBR.

As it stands now, they do not have a quarterback that's good enough to keep them from drafting the top QB in the 2018 draft.

And as it stands we have 10 games left. I didn't say we shouldn't draft a QB at all in 2018. I'm just not ready to go all in on a QB with one of the first 3 picks. Not yet at least. I would like to see where we are with Kizer at seasons end and we the CFB QB's are at the end of their season.

The Browns have picked a QB in the top 100 of the last two drafts.

One of them is probably going to be off the roster in about 4 months and the other one just put up the worst statistical five-game stretch for a starter in the history of the franchise.

No more half measures. Figure out who the best QB is in this year's draft and pick that player.

This is the same sentiment from last offseason. Remember when Watson was supposed to be the #1 pick? Then he had an underwhelming regular season and threw a bunch of picks? Then everyone soured on him? Then he won a national championship and crept back into the first round? And now everyone on here seems to wish we had him?

This topsy turvy QB shit that happens with every draft makes me nauseous. And the best is that we often point out how dumb it is, and then proceed to fall for it again.

Darnold, Rosen, Jackson, Rudolph, etc. A couple of these guys can be franchise QBs. So to answer your question, figure out which one will be and get excited about that one.

It sounds like you want them to make that decision right now. We still have 10 games left to play. Half the CFB season left. Combine, pro days, senior bowl. Nobody should be making a declaration on our QB situation until these seasons end.

The Browns are 0-6. They're almost certainly going to be underdogs in the remaining 10 games this season. There's virtually no scenario based on what we've seen so far where they aren't picking 1st, 2nd or 3rd.

The biggest hole on the roster is quarterback. This is not debatable.

Obviously things could change over the next 4-5 months, but if you think things are going to magically improve this season, you're sadly mistaken.

As of now, based on what I've seen from the quarterbacks and the grave need the Browns have at that position, I'm more than comfortable addressing that position as early as possible.
