We're still far off from the deadline but it doesn't hurt to start speculating on what the Indians might add.

Barring injury, I think they're set at DH, C, 1B, 2B, SS, 3B, and LF. That leaves outfield and starting pitching as the likeliest acquisitions...in my opinion, the Indians might opt to add a pitcher over anything else.

Heard Yu Darvish could be available as a 1 year rental. Maybe wouldn't cost too much. If Texas doesn't get back in the race

Wonder if the Jays fall out of contention any more than they already have if they start listening to offers on Marco Estrada or J.A. Happ.

That front office knows a lot about our farm, and they're getting old and need to kick start a rebuild soon.

I agree with the Jays as a seller this season but who can we get from them worth actually trading for?

Recent aces to be traded at deadline:

2014
-Jon Lester for Yoenis Cespedes

2015
-David Price for Daniel Norris (Blue Jays #1, MLB #17) + 2 prospects
-Cueto for Brandon Finnegan (Royals #4, MLB #55) + 2 prospects

Wouldn't exactly put the 2 Jays in that category...but Darvish probably fetches something similar to Price. Price netted Detroit 2 MLB ready starting pitchers. There's your starting point.

Right, this was in reference to Darvish. Aces will never be cheap even for a half season rental.

Wonder if that loser Lucroy will get dealt since he's essentially killed the Rangers with his contagious losing disease

Would be a good way to infect another contender with that chump incapable of ever winning anything but a mattress fucking contest

Lucroy: .225/.279/.350, 70 wRC+, 0.3 fWAR

It's amazing how good we have looked and how bad he has looked since he pulled that snake shit

Sometimes young and talented teams need something to push them over the top to bring it all together...sounds like that's what happened with this situation.
