Eh...after spending a lot of time on realgm (that's my penance), I've grown to hate that fanbase with an irrational passion.

I'd rather see the Bucks finally break through.

That's a realgm problem, not a raptors problem.

I remember the same things being said about a young Dwight Howard.

Straight disrespect Dwight was always seen as a cupcake, playful, and nice. Embiid embarrasses you on the court post game than twitter and actually tries to take your heart out.

Smh comparing Dwight to him

The real heroes of this NBA season are the Raptors, I genuinely hope they make it to the Finals, they deserve it moreso than any other franchise with how thoroughly 'Bron dad dicked them over the past 4 years. They're deep, they have tons of great defenders, they have top shelf talent, they're well coached and play with a level of maturity that not a lot of other teams do. And again, just imagine seeing the Celtics, Bucks and Sixers hype trains crash into the cold frozen dirt of Canada after years of posturing about how the east would be theirs for the taking once 'Bron was gone.

Totally agree. Raptors are the best shot at stopping the two teams I hate most, Warriors and Celtics, so all of a sudden I’m a big fan.

What the hell is going on in Chicago? Playing the Celtics, their starters played 4:45, then an entire lineup swap that played the rest of the 1st? Starters couldn't buy a bucket, BENCH SQUAD IT IS. Just atrocious.

Probably a bad night to post a Giannis stat given that he took only 7 shots in their loss to the Pacers, but here's just how absurdly effective he has been finishing on drives this year (with some other players sprinkled in for context)

FG% on drives:

Giannis --> 65.4%
Kyrie --> 55.2%
Westbrook --> 54.8%
LeBron --> 54.2%
Kawhi --> 54.0%
Curry --> 53.6%
Harden --> 51.6%
Durant --> 50.4%

Warriors having their hands full so far vs toronto. Again. Even without leonard.

I swear to god, if the year that the Warriors come back to Earth is the year after LeBron leaves....

Still think they will win it all with more or less effort, but...

I have an inkling that LeBron's Lakers are the team to drag them down to earth... the way that team is talked about now is much like the Cavs, a team that was such TRASH in the regular season, but somehow steamrolled on through to the Finals. Brandon Ingram is the "Kevin Love" of that team

Chicago is a team on WARNING status when it comes to the tank. They are as bad as the Cavs right now, with an added sprinkling of Wizards-style dysfunction.

I think I underestimated the power of Kawhi Leonard as "The Guy" on a team. On the Spurs he was one of many great guys. The same is somewhat true in Toronto, but DAMN.

We did anything but steamroll to the Finals. Toronto was their obligatory pushover selves but Indiana and Boston pushed us to the brink...

Nah they are waayy worse than the Cavs. They straight mutineed in the second game of the new coach’s tenure.

Hence the "added sprinkling of Wizards-style dysfunction". that is what takes them over the edge as far as sucking is concerned. here, I think it's deliberate sabotage on behalf of the coach. to go from "functional basketball" to "everyone ISO it out" almost worked last night, for example...

Cavs Locker room is supposed to be pretty happy. We can't compete with a team who hates their coach/each other

I just love Boylens idea that forcing grown ass professional basketball players to run suicides and have 3 hour long practices was gonna whip them in to shape instead of doing exactly what it ended up doing: pissing off everyone
