TBH I didn’t see it either. The still shot they showed with both feet was like .001 seconds of the play.

They are human beings... not sensors.

That was so obvious he took 3 steps out of bounds and then touched the ball. That was terrible

Sure man. I’m sure you said that as it happened...

Most likely you saw it on slow mo replay and decided it was an atrocious non-call.

It’s atrocious if you put it in your context. In real time, very difficult unless you were concentrating directly on the sideline and not the nimbly fimbly and difficult to process movement of a desperate Kevin Durant trying to get the ball in court while trying to pay attention to foul calls and other shit.

Cmon... it wasn’t easy to see at the time.

Have you ever reffed? That's the whole point of 3 refs: one is assigned to watch the baseline and there was on staring at it. He took literally 3 giant Kevin Durant 7 footer steps out of bounds and then touched the ball.

That was definitely not a bang bang play: he literally sprinted while out of bounds 1/2 the length of the baseline to touch the ball

Like...so what’s your point?

They obviously missed the call but that was difficult to see in the moment. Hell... the announcers themselves didn’t see it at the time either. Courtside.

As long as the game is reffed by humans shit like this will happen. There is no solution to natural human error.

Why then act as if this is somehow shocking and unacceptable when you know calls like this happen nearly every game? It’s just stupid.

Umm maybe because this was way beyond normal missed which you appear to be the only one contesting. The entire TnT crew was making fun of the call: "why have a baseline at all". It's not a big deal in the end because of Harden's 3 but that is absolutely a crazy call to miss by a number of points

1) It was NOT a close call
2) It was a call missed in OT between the two WCF teams with less then a minute to go
3) It led directly to a lead change

Yeah they did that AFTER the play. When it happened the crew didn’t say shit.

You know why? It was tough to process at the time it happened.

If he so clearly stepped out in real time then something would have been said by the announcers.

Yet... crickets while the play happened. Easy to go back, process what happened, and play arm chair ref.

Uggh: you realize the broadcast crew is at mid court on the other side of the play? You can't judge the baseline from that angle: that is why the NBA has 3 refs including a ref at the baseline who was staring at Durant.

Yeah and my view was one in front of a 65 inch 4K television with a camera angled directly at Kevin Durant and the baseline yet I still missed it and so did everyone and their mother until it was pointed out minutes after the play actually occurred by someone in some booth somewhere and then relayed to the national audience by Reggie Miller.

This shit happens and will continue to happen. Nothing to lose your britches over.

Nobody is touching the warriors

1. Boogie will be back
2. Green gets away with murder on defense/ offense and puts on a 48 minuet assault on refs without techs
3. Illegal screens
4. Now we can add GSW players are allowed to walk out of bounds without being called

You know there is a red positioned on the baseline on every play right? Literally refs have positions where to stand and one is on the baseline

How does one call that bang bang when refs call players out of bounds from the same angle with a guys shoe lace out of bounds. There’s literally a ref starring at the play

Nobody including the refs saw it.

It happens.
