He's a confident boy. Did pretty well for first game in a year. 15 min, 14 pts, 3-4 from 3pt, 3 assists, 6 rebounds, a block and a steal before fouling out at +21.

Curry, Durant, Thompson and Green have combined to go 4-23 from 3pt so far. The only good distance shooter was Boogie.

No.

And never will

Well, this isn't like the Durant signing.

Literally any team in the league could have had cousins for practically nothing. No one wanted to take a chance on him at all. And the warriors, by signing him they way they did, will be the -only- team NOT allowed to give him a high paid contract NEXT year. He won't re-sign with them. So in a way, they are deliberately helping Cousins recover, knowing they will send him on his way next year to a different team fully recovered.

I would think that regardless of how people feel about the warriors in general, or draymond, or KD or "stephanie" etc etc, this one gesture they have made, giving cousins a chance to use their facilities to heal, then to play for -someone else- next year basically, seems like a very unselfish thing for a team to do. Is there no sense that this is at all a "feel good" story, for him to come back after such an injury?

He wont recovery all the way, he looked slow, but he can still shoot and is a big body. He kind looked like an old Zach Randolph out there. Good, but no way prime Boogie

No because your reasoning is wrong. They weren’t doing this for unselfish reasons. They’re the only team where this signing was 0 downside. “Hey if he’s healthy we’ve completed our goal 5 Olympians in their prime. If he’s not, we still got 4 others!”

It's just different now. These guys just bounce around and ring chase and no one bats an eye. Totally bitch made behavior in my opinion but it is what it is at this point. It'll never go back to the way it was . . .

The only way to fix it is through salaries/cap. But I don't know if the league is interested.

Somehow, that never ends up being a problem for the teams it was designed to rein in. Eventually, people keep going back to the Lakers and Celtics.

Crazy how much Harden gets away with shove off with his off hand. Surprised that no opposing coach has made a stink about this yet. A lot of those "great" stepbacks he basically shoves the opposing forward in the direction their moving so it's not as obvious as if he pushed them in a different way
