I think Kwahi has to still prove he is healthy. No one is giving him a 4 year max contract if he can't prove that he can stay healthy for the whole season. Attitude/character issues will start to come into play if Kwahi pushes the issue even more.

He asked for a trade from the Spurs, he now has to suck it up and play for the raptors for the year.

Teams would be lining up to give KL a max contract even if he sits out this season. It's BS but they would.

If Kawhi won't play for Toronto? Terrible move imo.

You go out and get Kawhi if LeBron is in your way. He's not anymore.

According to the current CBA:

11.3 Withholding Services.

A player who withholds playing services called for by a Player Contract for more than thirty (30) days after the start of the last Season covered by his Player Contract shall be deemed not to have “complet[ed] his Player Contract by rendering the playing services called for thereunder.” Accordingly, such a player shall not be a Veteran Free Agent and shall not be entitled to negotiate or sign a Player Contract with any other professional basketball team unless and until the Team for which the player last played expressly agrees otherwise.

---

He has to play, if he wants to play professional basketball ever again. What he should do is stop listening to his dumb uncle's advice.

Has this ever been used on someone faking injury?

I have no clue. But it would sure provide a lot of drama!

Im irrationally hyped about this Knicks season.

Raptors, Bucks, Celtics, 6ers, Pacers, Wizards. There's definitely room for New York in the playoff picture considering the rest of the East is trash

How? KP is going to miss almost the entire season.

No reason to load up for another coach, who most likely will never be close to the coach Pop is.

Fun fact: the top two playoff coaches (winning percentage in the playoffs) all time are:

Steve Kerr .759
David Blatt .700
Phil Jackson .688
Paul Westhead .684
Tyronn Lue .672
Butch van Breda Kolff .636
John Kundla .632
Billy Cunningham .629
Larry Costello .617
Larry Bird .615
Pat Riley .606
Gregg Popovich .603
Erik Spoelstra .602
Chuck Daly .595

Pop is going to have to go on some sort of long win streak to get back into the top 10 (currently 12th)

If/When the Warriors ever start to lose and bring Kerr's % down, it will elevate Blatt to the "Best playoff coach ever".

(I suspect Lue's percentage will remain unchanged)

Looks like you guys might have hit on Knox. Increases odds you keep Kristap later. I only saw highlights. Did Robinson end up looking good?

How is Red Auerbach not on that list?
