2018-2019 Tank Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Ultimately we want to position ourselves for having the chance at one more LeComeback.

You need to retain or acquire elite veterans, and he will be at least semi-elite at age 37 IMHO, to have a contender or near-contender in the NBA.
This is the most asinine thing I’ve read in the history of being on these boards.

You do not plan and count on trying to get back a 37 year-old LeBron James. How hopelessly desperate are you? Good God, man, look at yourself in the mirror. I’m trying to help you.

LeBron had every opportunity to be here right now and walked.

We are going to rebuild. We are going to do what’s best for us.

At this point, I don’t know that we would even stoop to taking him back. However, if we did, it’d be more symbolic than anything and we’d cross that bridge when we come to it.

We’re not going to have a worse record than ATL, SAC, NYK, or ORL.

We’ll be battling it out with teams like PHX, BKN, DAL, CHI, and MEM for the 5-10 slot.

To get on of the four perceived top4 players: Barrett, Reddish, Williamson, or Little, we’ll need to move up.

The cool thing is the lottery is now drawn for the top4 picks instead of top3 like in the past so hopefully we get some of that post LeBron lottery luck again.

Hypothetically, if we pull off this tank, I’m personally a Nassir Little guy.

He’s young Kawhi. Well, pre-drama Kawhi.

We have 4, maybe 5 pieces that will be here when this gets turned around. Love, Sexton, Nance, Cedi & Zizic. As long as those guys play well I'm happy.

But no matter how well they play, guys like Clarkson, Hood, Dekkar, TT & JR will fuck it up like they did tonight.

The tank is in good hands.

My only concern is can we be as bad as New York, Atlanta & Sacramento?

I dont want him back. Not even for a symbolic retirement. At this point he will be remembered as being a Cav as much as KAJ for being a Buck.

I don’t care if he comes back- wouldn’t have an issue with it. But honestly I’m not even thinking about it.
It’s not a priority for the franchise.

I don't know put me down as maybe we should wait 20 games before activating the tank.
If they can get the defense together they can win some games...they played 2 tough teams on the road and if it wasn't for that 4
point play last night I think they have a decent shot to win that game. They had some lapses in the Toronto game that cost them obviously.
They key is Sexton...if he can play consistently like he did last night then its a different situation all together.

They’re going to see how the east shapes up through the end of the year.
If they’re out of it, Love will have an “injury” and even Cedi will start missing time.
They’ve been competitive with two playoff teams on the road. They’re not playing horrible.

How many times has Slam said this since LeBron's senior year?
Probably never considering the point they're making is fact based on him collecting every player of the year award which hasn't happened since LeBron.
