Pretty much. Think the bottom line here is this was two crazy people that should have never been together.

And had Urban not been a dumbass at media days, probably would be 1/5 of the story that it is now.

Yep.

As it is this story is pretty much dead. People have become resigned to the overwhelming likelihood that Urban will be back.

Football is back and people have moved on. Might as well just get this over with.
 
I’ll be fully alleviated when I see the headline that he’s fully reinstated. Otherwise I’ll maintain a light stress over the potential the committee finds anything indicating Urban may not have reported.

That’s the thing here; the substance behind Courtney’s allegation is irrelevant to the committee’s investigation; it is definitely beneficial from a PR standpoint which will help with reinstating Meyer (if he is) but it’s needs proven that he adheres to guidelines first.
 
Rumor has it Urban will be reinstated this afternoon.

That's also why Zach Smith, Urban Meyer and OSU couldn't say a single negative word about Courtney Smith or refute anything.

They're guilty until proven innocent.

Any attempt to clear their name would've been seen as attacking the victim.

This woman should be put in jail and Brett McMurphy should be sued.... he'll never work again. No college football team will ever let him near their program.

McMurphy should face recourse for sure.

And with all the complexities and sides to the story, it’s more clear than ever that Urban should face no penalties or discipline.

The Courtney/Zach stuff is still more complicated. Her mom and step mom were not in the house with them. They may have their own biases and opinions. And just because they do not believe her version of the story does not make them 100% right on every account and every instance. Nor does Courtney’s allegedly saying some crazy stuff mean that nothing wrong was done to her by Zach. But ultimately, that is between the two of them and the legal system. I am not sticking up for her or sticking up for him.

I am however saying that given all the muddled and varied accounts of things + the agenda that McMurphy has shown time and time again the past two weeks, none of this should fall on Urbans lap and he should be re-instated ASAP.
