We are handing the ball up the middle into a stacked box with no QB run threat. Plenty of things we can try.
Hell, I'd try a Weber/Dobbins combo in the backfield. Or motion Campbell in the backfield to pair with one of Weber/Dobbins. Or go play action. Literally tons of simple fixes that I'd try before changing QBs.
I agree the running plays have not been drawn up that well. I think this is where we missed Urban over the summer, and most likely won’t be fixed until after the bye week. In the past with RPO you did not have to run a complicated blocking scheme because it was up to the QB to read the defense. Without we have to run more a pro style attack with blockers moving and setting up where the back should attack.
The other issue I see is Webber and Dobbins run a different style, and I think we need to be more creative how we use them. I am not a fan of how much they rotate, it makes it hard for one of them to get into a rhythm.
