2018 Buckeyes Football

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
So, in summary, McMuffin did the following:

-Made a cancer patient's medical records public
-Badgered a cancer patient to the point of her hiring a lawyer and having the University of Florida formally request McMuffin to fuck off
-Accused a cancer patient of faking cancer
-Got a cancer patient fired for a white collar crime she committed 10+ years ago
-Humiliated the entire Grimes family overall
-Gave a platform to an estranged drug dealer/wife beater (oh the irony)
-Accused The Ohio State University of covering up racism
-Unintentionally disgraced himself

All for the purpose of furthering his witch hunt on Urban Meyer.

Disgusting. Stadium should be ashamed and embarrassed for running that story and for employing such a piece of shit.

Agreed besides dismissing Leah Grimes' crime as "white collar" and inferring it should be excused. While the circumstances were unfortunate, she should not be employed as a caregiver by anybody after such a "disgusting" crime.

And neither should McMurphy. Stadium is a start-up news outlet though that seems to be going the way of TMZ so I doubt he is punished.

I'm not dismissing it nor do I think it should be excused. I don't know the rules around that type of thing with regards to future employment in the profession...I just think it's unfortunate as it's just another thing that hurts the Grimes family.

Which, after all, is what this piece did the most. Hurt the Grimes family, disgraced/exposed McMurphy, and embarrassed Stadium, in that order. Despite the clear intention, it had no negative effect on Ohio State whatsoever.

The article was reckless, baseless and accomplished absolutely nothing.

So what is the apparent basis of McMurphy's crusade against Urban? What did Urban do to piss him off? Something happen at Utah? McMurphy a Mich grad or something?

Ever since that summer presser, where Urban insinuated that Brett made up the story about Zach getting arrested in 09.

From 11W:

DWAYNE HASKINS COMING BACK? I've shared no fewer than 12 mock drafts in these Skull Sessions, but I'm sharing another one. This time though, it's more about who's absent from the list, not who's on it.

Dwayne Haskins did not appear on Bleacher Report's Matt Miller's list of the top 32 overall players or top-10 quarterbacks in the 2019 class, and here was his rationale:

“Ohio State’s Dwayne Haskins is not listed, as school sources do not believe he will enter the 2019 NFL draft.”

That is certainly some news.

Obviously, a lot can change between now and April, but if Dwayne Haskins is already planning to return to school, that certainly doesn't sound like a bad thing.

Did mom's ever get charged or was her license just revoked

If true, that is great news, and he really should. Dude has a great arm, but he's ALL arm. He needs to get in the weight room and work on the lower body strength and overall conditioning. Great arm, but he's not NFL ready, IMO.

As for the Buckeyes... this would be huge as there are still questions on how good of a passer Tate is. And the idea of figuring that out while also losing our top 4 WRs (Campbell, Hill, McLaurin, Dixon) and Weber at RB is a little concerning.

Not a guarantee we lose hill. I think he stays to be the guy in 2019. Especially if Haskins comes back.

I agree, I also think having an entire off-season for the coaching staff to work in more pro style offense sets would be huge. With him not being mobile, I would like to see more pistol formations to help the RB get more downfield on attempts. I also think with all of the WR leaving, it would be interesting to see if we can come up with formations as Tate as a slot or RB in some plays. That way you could have him on the field with Haskins and be able to go hurry up at times, and move Haskins outside and let Tate tun RPO's while the def is unable to sub out.

The bulk of this team really should come back, Haskins included.

Whether they will or not is less likely, given Haskins "people" and the possibility that Day leaves for another role as well.

Having Haskins back with Dobbins, KJ Hill, Victor, Mack, Olave and the TEs all back is a good core.

You'd also have your LT and C coming back, potentially moving Jordan into another spot to maximize your talent.

I've heard from a few people that Haskins & Hill are basically a package deal at this point. Either both stay or both go.

I'm excited for next years offensive line. Not sure if Bowen can get back to where he was, but if he gets fully healthy that's a huge add.

And Wyatt Davis is going to be a stud. More than a few people in the program have expressed disbelief at the lack of playing time he's getting. It was cool to see him get in on the special short yardage package as a TE, but the guy is mobile and nasty. I'm looking forward to seeing him start next year. Personally, I'd love to see Davis get the nod at center and move Jordan back to guard.

OHIO STATE BOARD OF TRUSTEES VOTES TO INCREASE TICKET PRICES FOR 2019 SEASON

Ohio State football ticket prices will be on the rise again.

Ohio State's Board of Trustees voted earlier today to raise ticket prices for the 2019 season. The price hike will impact both season tickets for the general public, as well as total overall ticket prices.

From the release:

The schedule for the 2019 season offers Florida Atlantic and Miami (Ohio) games in the lowest pricing tier, for $60 and $65, respectively; and Penn State and Wisconsin in the highest pricing tier, at $198 and $170, respectively, per ticket.

Overall, season tickets for members of the public will cost $63 more than they did for the current season, and $58 more in total season ticket prices. The current student ticket price of $34 per game will continue at least through the 2020 season.

Ohio State does feature some marquee Big Ten matchups next season, getting Michigan State, Wisconsin, and Penn State in Columbus. The Buckeyes will also take on Lane Kiffin and FAU, as well as Luke Fickell and Cincinnati, in the non-conference portion of the schedule.

This new hike is in response to last season, when the university lowered season ticket prices by $50.

The student ticket prices will remain the same, at $34 per game.

Worst attended season that I can ever remember and the answer was to raise the prices.
