2018 Cleveland Browns Off Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Schedule Leak:

Week 3 - Jets @ Browns Thursday Night Football

It is probably been years since I could confidently say that the Browns are going to murder them.

The NFL did mention they wanted to make the Thursday Night Football match-ups better. Browns vs Jets. Boy, did they deliver!

Funny, yes..for sure.

But in all honesty, it's smart for a couple reasons:

1. Put maybe our only 1 national TV game early (Week 3) so there's more of chance all our new people are healthy/not suspended.

2. Crow returns to CLE

3. There's a CHANCE we could see Bridgewater again on the national stage.

4. Put 2 teams that could potentially be 0-2 (I know, I know...I have high hopes for us this year. As in 5-7 wins. But going off last year) up against each other and have a chance to get their 1st win.

Plus, potentially having 3 of the the top 4 picks playing would be fun I guess. I'm hoping the qb we draft doesn't have to play but still.

The schedule release show might be the worst thing on television tonight.

Steelers will be the season opener, again. Ravens season closer.

Crow's return to Cleveland not only makes the list, but drops-in at #2! :chuckle:

The Thursday game was never really "needed" to be honest.

I mean the NCAA had a good thing going on prior to that with airing random ACC, Big East games during that time slot as a lead in for the entire sport before the weekend.

Same thing with the London games. I mean, what value are getting from those? You're airing it in a shit time slot back home, taking a way a home game and you're trying to cater towards a nation/continent of people who have not embraced your product.
