2018 Cleveland Browns Off Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I know this is a lot to ask but does anyone who knows football more than me want to explain which roster was better goIng into last season... the bills last year or the browns? I seem to think browns have more talent but honestly I don’t know forsure

If you’re comparing this season’s Browns to last season’s Bills, this season’s Browns have a significantly better roster.

Without a doubt the Browns this year.

Our ends are better. We took their best CB from last year (Gaines).

QB of course is a wash.

RB is tougher b/c they have one of the better RB's in the league. But we now have a "3-headed monster" in Hyde, Dukey, & Chubb. It's just what you prefer. Do you prefer McCoy who has only missed 11 games in his entire career and has been pretty damn productive, but he's the only guy pretty much on their roster that was good last year. Or 3 RB's, 2 of which that have great hands, and one that can power you through downs 1-2. Honestly, package wise, I would probably take the Browns. But you can easily call this a wash.

WR's you have to go Browns. Buffalo had "name" WR's but pretty much they all were trash. Jordan Matthews, Zay Jones, Corey Brown. Matthews went down. They added Kelvin Benjamin. But we have one of the most explosive (when "healthy") and best WR's in the game in Gordon. Landry is sure-handed and even though people knock on him for only catching short passes, he CATCHES short passes. He will be a go-to guy on those 3rd & 5's, etc. Beyond that, Buffalo had shit. We at least have hope in Coleman and our new younger guys like Callaway.

I actually like Charles Clay a lot. And Njoku is still young. I would call it a wash.

Now this post completely seems like a homer post, but I think it's pretty obvious we have the better roster ON PAPER.

I think the Browns are going to shock some like the Eagles did (maybe if not to that degree). IMO the AFC North is about to SUCK (Ravens already there). Prime time for the Browns to rise. Cleveland will become Mayfield Village.

If the Browns are fighting for a playoff spot in week 17 - that’s an Eagles or Jacksonville type rise for me.

This is an exciting time boys, especially with what just happened.

We have the Indians playing some great baseball right now. And the Browns actually making wise moves and seems to be ready to compete finally with a competent QB.

I will pass my pink name onto sportscoach.
