I just don't see them cutting bait with Devalve. Heart doesn't make 53 man rosters. Plenty of people have heart. Talent wins out and Devalve is much more talented. Cajuste will never be anything more than a special teams type contributor. Keys make as good point. I think Cajuste making the team has more to deal with Vitale than Devalve as FB is pretty useless anyways.

Browns FS Damarious Randall is getting a second opinion on his injured knee.

Coach Hue Jackson said Randall was held out of the third preseason game for "precautionary reasons" and still contends he will "be fine," but this news suggests he is dealing with a more serious injury than the coach is letting on. Briean Boddy-Calhoun has played corner thus far in his career, but he got the start with Randall out last Thursday.

Players getting a second opinion could also go the other way. Randall might have been told it is a potentially serious injury but he wants confirmation it isn't that bad. Either way, BBC looked very good in the role so far against the Eagles. He had the pick, a few breakups, and was in the right place as the free safety. He looked better in deep safety than Peppers did last year.
 
Zane Gonzalez - K - Browns
Zane Gonzalez has won the Browns' kicking job for 2018.

Gonzalez was battling Ross Martin, who was waived on Tuesday. The No. 224 overall pick of last year's draft, Gonzalez didn't have much to do for his 0-16 club, attempting just 20 field goals all season. He converted only 15 of them. That's a 75 percent rate in a league where 80 is generally considered the "acceptable" threshold. The Browns also parted ways with WR Evan Berry, OL Kevin Bowen, DL Marcell Frazier, OL Geoff Gray and TE Julian Allen.
 
Can someone post their training camp review on players from the last two drafts? I haven't seen enough and was curious how the young guys who aren't big names are doing.
 
Guys devalve sucks, he just isn’t going to ever be good. He’s slow out there in games and he tends to lack ball security.

Need a graph that correlates Sashi support with DeValve fandom, stat.
 
Devalve is nothing more than a workout warrior. His tape never looked anything close to what his workout numbers were.
