2018 College Football Season/Playoff Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Michigan would kick the living shit out of UGA. Hell, I'll go so far as to say that right now Michigan is the only team that I would give a puncher's chance to beat Alabama this season.

Mich would get annihilated by Alabama IMO.

I refuse to believe the school that produced Brandon Weeden will beat the school that produced Baker Mayfield

Tua has looked very human the last couple weeks.

Hopefully they do!

4 loss (at least) Northwestern will be in the Big Ten Championship Game.

Shoot conference divisions to the fucking moon.

Oklahoma State QB just threw an awful pass on a 2 pt converstion to take where they couldve took the lead over Oklahoma with a min left. WR was open too.

Oklahoma isn't good. They'll get rolled in the CFP if they make it.

Oklahoma escapes again. God fucking dammit.

The next time Ohio State gets help from someone will be the first time.

ESPN comment about your post: "A testament to just how unbelievably incredible EVERY team in the SEC truly is."

:chuckle:

What a fucking bummer. That would have been huge.

At the very least the CFB Playoff Committee needs to re-evaluate OU's ranking. Lets not forget this team also needed OT to beat Army. If the committee can punish OSU for playing down to their competition then they can do the same to other teams. At this point they should for sure be ranked behind Washington State, and probably even West Virginia and Ohio State too. For as critical as we've been about the Buckeyes defense... Oklahoma's defense has been truly awful. Like, the worst of any of the top 25 ranked teams. Also, they have played 1 game against a ranked opponent (Texas), and they lost. Their wins are FAU, UCLA, Iowa State, Army (in OT), Baylor, TCU, Kansas State, Texas Tech (by 5), and Oklahoma State (by 1). If anyone deserves to be the lowest ranked 1 loss team... this is it.

I carry a heavy heart this morning for Mike Gundy’s loss. It is never pleasant to watch a legend fall.

Mike Gundy is indeed legend for anyone wondering. Any argument opposing this sentiment is invalid by default, so.

Ha Mike Leach runs the PAC 12 now. For some reason it’s funny to me and I kind of like it.

538 has their yearly CFP projection calculator out if you want to play with it: https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2018-college-football-predictions/

Obviously it's not the end-all, be-all, but I ran the calculator for Alabama, Clemson, OSU, Notre Dame, and Oklahoma winning out, and it says we'd be the odd man out to Oklahoma.

Really need Oklahoma or ND to drop a game, or I don't think it's happening.

I do honestly think ND could go down to Syracuse this weekend though, so here's hoping. Wouldn't mind Washington State to lose again so they'd go away too.

I think OSU would be boned either way considering WVU and Oklahoma play each other. WVU would almost certainly jump LSU and Wash St with a win over Oklahoma.

If both teams win this weekend, they're going to play each other in back-to-back weeks because of the Big XII title game. OSU would need OU to take one game and WVU to take one game. Both would then have two losses.
