Watched the first half. I like the tempo. lots of passing. that will lead to turnovers as they adapt to their playstyle which is fine .

Really pissed about this freedom of movement rule. where was this 4 years ago. we might of had 2 championships and made a series out of the other two.

I liked the top of the arc 3 way rotation. its really gives the slashers some looks and when adjusted for some quality pull up jumpers.

Hood has a lot of speed with the basketball.. sometimes too much.. I counted about three passes on drives that were way to late nd a couple times he was just too fast to finish.
Not really sure about the defense . Boston was shooting like crap.

Everyone seemed to have a clear undersanding of their role even when making mistakes.

Lue finally gets to run a team playing his style of basketball which seems to have adapted a few of the principles by the coach who will not be named.

I agree with Austin Carr. the Celtics were expecting a totally different game and they were confused in the first half.

but that isn't any excuse. its the Celtics playing their 3rd preseason game and the Cavs playing their first.

on a side note. Tristan has really gotten into these guys heads and the crowds. who didn't mae a peep until Thompson had the ball and went to the line.

You could really tell Sexton is using preseason the right way. he is out there working on his weaknesses.

Im not sure how the Cavs ended up playing the three teams they took out in the playoffs but I expect Brad to make some adjustments(besides just throwing in Kyrie) in the next game and it will be great to see how the team adjust.

Have to say, I was really happy with the way Lue managed the game. He got guys into their sets, and the defense looks damn good. Boston struggled. Loved seeing Hayward's frustration.

Collin is being held defensively accountable from day one. That is awesome. Kyrie never had that.

Maybe Lue is a good coach. I am interested in giving him another shot.

There were a lot of times last year where I was saying, "These are guy are more talented than this" It's just a lot of pressure to play with Lebron.

looks like the majority of voters believe the preseason will tell us there is no escape from reality.

Lue is getting off to a good start, He has the players bought in on the scheme. he is calling his timeouts at good times. I think he will have a good rookie year of calling the shots
