Amazing how they damn near ended up covering.
 
Good win. Hopefully Urban back full time will clean up some of the mistakes and make the team more efficient in the redzone.

I still feel the offense need that touch of Urban Meyer to blend with Ryan Days offense. We need that extra wrinkle to the run game outside of straight RB handoffs.
 
This defense is so weird.

I have no idea why we play so much man with the DLine we have. Have no idea why the safeties outside Fuller have struggled so much. The LBs are Jekyll and Hyde.

But basically won the game tonight so can't complain.

I think it's just game experience. So much turnover from year to year. I feel like it was the same way last year, once they got into big 10 play they started really coming together. The linebackers and DBs have such limited game experience among them that they really don't even have someone to lean on to line everyone up right. If Tuf Borland didn't get hurt last year he most likely would have been that guy.

Great win. Shoulda won by more but made a handful of mistakes and refs don't understand what PI is.

Offense is GOAT levels as long as we don't beat ourselves. Dwayne Heisman.

LBs and Safeties not named Fuller still got a lot of work to do.

Odd that they didnt do more play action. Just ran the ball every time off the run formations. Running downhill was working so was waiting for them to get the defense to bite

Hopefully as the season goes on, Urban and Day will come up with those counter or compliment plays that we were use to seeing when Herman was here.

I think we could not ask for more from Haskins or the WRs in the passing game. The running game has been fairly standard for OSU with the two talented RBs and offensive line we have. Add the stuff we would run with Jalin Marshall, Curtis Samuel, and Dontre Wilson, and I think you take this offense to GOAT level. We will face teams that are more talented than TCU and hopefully we have a similar package of plays that are as creative as TCU throw at us today.
