As an addendum, here's the potential schedule for the tiebreaker games(s) in the NL (fingers crossed).

Indians postseason roster guess...

Lineup (9)
C: Gomes
1B: Alonso
2B: Ramirez
SS: Lindor
3B: Donaldson
LF: Brantley
CF: Kipnis
RF: Cabrera
DH: Encarnacion

No surprises here.

Bench (5)
C: Perez, IF: Diaz, OF: Allen, OF: Guyer, OF: Davis

If Gonzalez is recovered from his concussion in time, I could see Tito having him on the roster even though I wouldn't regardless.

Rotation (3)
Kluber
Carrasco
Clevinger

We don't know if Bauer's going to start or if they're going to use him out of the pen yet. Guess they'll play it by ear in the first two games.

TBD (1)
Bauer

Bullpen (7)
Hand
Allen
Miller
Perez
Cimber
Bieber
Olson

I'm not in love with having four lefties in the pen and I'm guessing Otero has a good chance of getting the last spot, but Olson hasn't given up a run in 14 consecutive outings so I'm putting him in for now.

If I’m not mistaken Houston only has 3 lefties- Kemp, Redick, McCann. Not sure how valuable Olson would be in this series even though he has been good recently.

Well if that's the case, then I guess Otero would get the nod.

Cards beat the Cubs 2-1 today. Brewers only a half game behind in the NL Central now. Cardinals are now 1.5 back of the second wild card spot. They need the Dodgers to lose tonight to remain in the hunt.

Man, who's even the favorite to come out of the NL? Cubs? Such a wild year over there.

When do they release th first pitch times?

It’s crazy. They had the best record in NL through 160 games and it is possible they don’t make it to the division series.

To piggyback some off @NorthCoastBias , we don't know yet but i think we can make some assumptions. If the Yankees advance, NYY vs. BOS will be primetime. And if the A's advance, it might not necessarily be "primetime" but they'll put that game later since the A's are in the Pacific Time Zone.

I would think Game 1 next Friday will be at 2pm EST. All 4 series play that day and last year this is when Boston/Houston played. They won't pick the Boston series this year for reasons explained above and the NL series will have at least one of the Rockies -2 hours or Dodgers -3 hours

Game 2- Just AL games on Saturday. I imagine Indians/Astros starts at 4pm and the Boston/WC series starts at 8pm

Game 3- if there isn't a sweep in either NL series, all 4 series will be going on again. I think that puts us in line for another 2pm start

As far as the NL favorite, I think the Dodgers are the best equipped to get through the NL again. But they might have to play in the Wild Card game.

Dodgers are up 10-5 in the top of the 9th in San Fran. If they win, the Cardinals are eliminated.
