Griffin speaks..
Didn't know where to put this at.

crosspost that in the LeBron thread.
Also "The Tsar" being on that panel rules.

Griff admitting that Altman saying that the "camps" have been in contacts is a good sign makes me feel a bit better because again, he's been down this road.

I don't like McLeod. He is a terrible interviewer.

I will always like the guy. I tweeted to him once after I moved to Charlotte back when the Cavs were bad and mentioned I was at a game. This was the year Kyrie was a rookie. He responded and told me to come down and say hi to him after the game. I did. Got to hang out with him and Carr for like five minutes talking about the Cavs after the game and took a picture with them both. He and AC are both great people.

Yeah. It's not a strong dislike or anything and I have no idea how he is in person...I have never had the experience that you had, so it's just how he comes in interviews for me and the interviews that he conducts...I always feel like he is asking the wrong questions.

I'm gonna take your word for it for sure. Yet it would still not change my impression of him as an interviewer...

Dont trade him. I dare you Cavs.

I do not want to see cavs trade him, cedi, zizic or Nance
Liking so far what cavs have done. I am fine with Sexton, we need that attitude. Like the three guys they have added to the summer league

Still see them adding pieces with the mid-level and moving JR, possibly Hill

Would like to see them re-sign Hood is $$$ possible. Might as well try to straighten out Clarkson. Just keep him from being a PG

I really like the relationship Collin has work Avery Johnson. He had picked up what being in the NBA is like. I think he is going to be one of the more ready to play rookies even if he can't orchestrate the offense yet.

He was groomed and Hood work ethic doors right in with LeBron. He won't have major drama, he will work good ass off, and he will show respect to his teammates and do what the coach says. Not like when Kyrie would not pass to his teammates.

Kyrie who?

I think his passing will be fine, he will have vets around him, he won’t force it, he respects the game he will know his place.

But forcing the drives from semi fast breaks, that is what he should do. Even Hill had a few dunks because of it in the playoffs- everyone on defense is looking for LeBron= clear path. But there were a lot more chances and nobody took them.

Lue's probably too busy encouraging Jeff Green to shoot 3s that he's unaware we were even active in the draft.

Conversation at an upcoming press conference during a pre-Summer League practice:

Dave McMenamin: "Coach Lue, other than Collin Sexton, what other players were you specifically targeting in the draft?"

Ty Lue: "The draft? Dude, where you been? The military got rid of the draft years ago." <chuckles to himself>

McMenamin: "No, I'm talking about the NBA Draft. You know... the one that was held just a few weeks ago?"

Lue: "The NBA has a draft? You mean the league can force you to play basketball for them?" <looks over at Longabardi> "Hey Longo, did you know the NBA can force people to play basketball?"

McMenamin: "No, Coach, I'm talking about where individual teams select players from college and overseas to join them for the upcoming season."

Lue: "Wait a second. You're telling me the Cavs can go and sign college and overseas players to add to their roster?"

McMenamin: "Yes."

Lue: "Do other teams know about this?"

McMenamin: "Uh... YEAH??!!!"

Lue: <has a blank stare come over his face for about ten seconds> "Hold on a minute, Dave." <looks over at Longabardi again> "Hey Longo... you know those two tall, white, European guys who has been following us around since last year who claimed they were Cavs players? Guess what. I think they might have been telling the truth. Go tell them to put the mops and towels away and to grab a couple of basketballs."

Longabardi: "What do you want me to have them do?"

Lue: "Just tell them to be aggressive and make shots." <looks back at McMenamin> "Thanks, Dave. Hey listen, do you know any other insider stuff that I might find useful?"

McMenamin: "What do you mean?"

Lue: "Well, like, for example... I'm trying to find a way to play LeBron more but I'm worried it might eat into Jeff Green's minutes. Any ideas?"

Watched his HS videos... surprised how much better athletic wise he looks compared to his Alabama highlights... his vertical leap and explosiveness were pretty impressive
