2018 NBA Draft - June 21

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
18-9-6 with 3 blocks last night for Wendell Carter as Duke continues to roll sans Bagley

I noted earlier that he might become the first major conference freshman ever to average 2 assists and 2 blocks per game. In four games since Bagley's injury, he's averaging 3 assists and 3 blocks per game. The only major conference player ever to average 3 assists and 3 blocks for a season was Tim Duncan, who did it as a senior.

Zhaire Smith looks fantastic in the early going tonight. Drained a rhythm 3 to start the game and has already made countless key plays with his athleticism. He could still crash the top-10 party in this draft the way he's playing.

EDIT: 2/2 from 3. He's now 7/8 from 3 over his last 6 games after going 5/18 over his first 22 games. Wasn't expected to be a shooter at all.

Can I get some synergy stats on this guy @Sir'Dom Pointer ? He seems like he might be a historically good finisher at the rim for a freshman guard. A lot of players are explosive in space...it's a rare talent to be explosive in traffic like he is.

Oh shit, Alonzo Trier of Arizona was declared ineligible today.

Sure thing... I'll post it when I get home. I'll post his full stats on both ends.

My first thought on seeing your post was that it was probably related to the wiretaps and FBI investigation. Turns out it might be from a residual trace of the steroid he was suspended for last year? Regardless, it seems like he's definitely declaring this year.

Ayton with a solid game tonight:
19 pts
7-12 FG
5-6 FT
4 ORB
8 DRB
4 AST
1 STL
3 BLK

Hopefully Trier being out leads to higher usage and better enagement and activity from Ayton

Still waiting for those synergy stats

Give me another name or two and I'll post a bunch of them to compensate for the delay. I'm not near a computer tonight.

Haha, my bad, I figured you just forgot. If it's up to me, I'd pick Zhaire Smith, Lonnie Walker, and Troy Brown, a nice trio of interesting freshman wings who've been largely overlooked thanks to the star power at the very top of the draft.

I already checked them out days ago, but I won't tell you... don't wanna ruin the surprise.
