2018 NBA Draft - June 21

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I still can't believe Boston gave us that pick....

I like this whole contending AND looking at options in the Top 5 of the upcoming draft.

I can't decide who I like just yet, but like every draft that'll change by April/May/June. There's always a prospect that makes a jump.

Let's just pray the Nets suck and the ping pong balls are fortuitous.

Not gonna have to spend too much time in prayer for that to happen...

I don't know, some people are thinking they might be just good enough to get us out of the range we want. I disagree after looking at their roster, but we'll see.

Some people are idiots.

There's maybe one team who compares, talent wise, to their roster, and that's Chicago.

They're going to win 25 games at max. Odds are they struggle to win 20 again.

This would be perfect.

Fwiw, their over under is 5 games lower than the next team...

I have 99.999% confidence in saying they are in the bottom 5, as far as record goes.

95% confidence they are in the bottom 3.

50/50 confidence that they have the worst record in basketball again.

Just an absolutely terrible roster there right now.

One of the benefits of the NBA trying to prevent resting players is food teams will look to crush tanking teams so their starters can sit the majority of the 4the quarter. Much less chance of upsets happening

Don't forget the fact that they are playing in the East. Lakers, Sacramento, Phoenix and other fuckups are all playing in the stacked west.
Nets could be the worst team in the NBA and still win more games than the Lakers.

The suns are in an interesting situation. Do they actively tank and move bledsoe or do they start to build a winning culture and accept the fact they might miss out on a marquee pick in a loaded draft but still get a good piece in the 5-10 range.

Would love to get either Porter or Doncic. I'm not super high on Bagley yet, I need to see how he plays at Duke.

How great would it be if Sexton ended up being better than everyone, then we get kyrie replacement for 5 years for peanuts plus Crowder plus Zizic plus maybe keeping Thomas and having Sexston as a 6th Man and groom him as the PG of the future

If this pick stays in the top 5 it's win anyways. This draft is toooop heavy and every player in the top 5 has a chance to become a future cornerstone.
I actually put Mo Bamba right at the top.. just look at this potential. Huge frame, 8 ft wingspan, beautiful stroke and runs the floor like a gazelle.
