2018 NBA Draft - June 21

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Any accurate comparisons of mine in the top 20 players (both of our picks could land in the 20's..its a stretch, yes). These are ranked as well, my guess..

1. DeAndre Ayton, PF/C; Arizona (Tim Duncan)

2. Marvin Bagley, PF; Duke (Kevin Garnett)

3. Luka Doncic, G; Real Madrid (Manu Ginobili)

4. Michael Porter jr., SF/PF; Missouri (Brandon Ingram)

5. Mohamed Bamba, C; Texas (Rudy Gobert)

6. Robert Williams III, F/C; Texas A&M (Larry Sanders)

7. Wendell Carter, F/C; Duke (Thon Maker)

8. Miles Bridges, SF/PF; Michigan State (Justice Winslow)

9. Collin Sexton, G; Alabama (Kyle Lowry)

10. Lonnie Walker, G; Miami (Eric Bledsoe lite)

11. Jaren Jackson jr., PF; Michigan State (Kenneth Faried)

12. Kevin Knox, SF/PF; Kentucky (Rudy Gay)

13. Bruce Brown, G; Miami (Devin Booker)

14. Troy Brown, G/F; Oregon (Wes Matthews)

15. Justin Jackson, SF/PF; Maryland (Jae Crowder)

16. Trevon Duval, PG; Duke (Damien Lillard)

17. Dzanan Musa, SF/PF; KK Cedevita (Dirk Nowitski)

18. Mitchell Robinson, C; N/A (Tristan Thompson)

19. Chimezie Metu, PF/C; USC (Emeka Okafor)

20. Hamidou Diallo, SG; Kentucky (Danilo Gallinari)

Thoughts? Who do they compare to? Comparisons mean little, but it's fun.

Damn, these are terrible! lol :D

I'll try to do my best tomorrow. Friggin late here.

Come on, man. I tried to be fair! Things can change from now until draft day

I was talking about the comparisons!!! Diallo and Gallinari got me good.

Watch for Jaren Jackson.. he is my guy and should be where we pick. Just another player to look at.

Jackson and Bagley both with big games early, but Bagley went to the locker room and has yet to return. Not sure how serious.

Jackson besides working inside, grabbing rebounds, and playing tough interior D, nailed two 3s in a few minute run. Is that a legit part of his game already or just a few lucky shots?

MSU looks like it will be so tough year. A mix of their usual grit n grind coupled with some elite talent

Very good ft shooter. Isn't known for his 3pt shot though, so thats encouraging. Not sure about his form though, but it's very much tweakable.

His build reminds me of TT, but he is taller and a tad longer. He is still kinda weak though and struggles on the boards against elite rebounders.

Elite defensively.. made for the modern game. Needs to gain weight though.

But I like him alot.

Yeah, looks like longer arms and just a "looser" more fluid body.

His 3's weren't full NBA depth but the one I saw as soon as I turned the game on was deadeye, no rim.

Bridges hasn't forced much or gotten much on offense but has been pretty engaged on defense.

Bagley is still in the locker room but apparently just got poked in the eye, not anything leg/knee related

Grayson Allen just nailed a Curry range 30 footer to end the half and put Duke up by 4.

I actually like Bridges on defense when I watch him. Very quick off his feet to contest shots depsite his length limitations... compensates with good vertical and timing.

Jackson does look more fluid. His body moves a lot differently than TT.. TT is stiff nowadays. Jaren just glides.

Jaren Jackson could definitely add 15-20 lbs. Don't think he'd be able to play the 5 exclusively in the NBA yet.

Not sure if that's a prequisite for playing in the NBA anymore.

I mean, definitely he could and will bulk up once he's had a full year at MSU and then is eating and training like a pro, but what NBA centers are really banging in the paint like they did 10-20 years ago?

I get what you're saying though, he'll likely always be a hybrid PF/C not a true C

Bagley will not play in the second half due to the eye injury.

Smart. He scored and rebounded well so he doesnt want the scouts to have more tape againdt a tough matchup.

Thisvpoke isnt serious.. just a poke.

Omg, I hate Allen. He looks like a douche.

He is a douche.

But I also don't see how he at least doesn't have a JJ Redick type trajectory. His shot is so nice and he's not an awful athlete nor slight/extra thin

I'd even give him consideration if the Cavs own pick was in the 20-24 range. Then again, if Kennard went top12 and this is now a 3P shooting first NBA, he probably won't last until 20
