He doesn't really fit on the Cavs at all, but this thread is lacking some Dzanan Musa talk for sure lol. Wouldn't put him in that tier of guys though probably right now.
Kyle Korver protege?

Lol we were talking about drafting the next cornerstone of the franchise 8 weeks ago now we are hoping for a poor mans Kyle Korver. UnrealKyle Korver protege?

I know what you meant. But bottom line is we went from future stud to future role player in terms of our expectations."protege" doesn't mean "poor man's." I was just responding to the comment that he doesn't fit on the Cavs by saying that he could basically step into Korver's role over the next few years as Korver gradually goes from being a regular 25 minutes per game guy to an end-of-the-bench veteran mentor.

Nah, he's much more of an on ball guy to me... Jamal Crawford type.
For those that aren't familiar with him, finished this one earlier in the week:
I agree it sucks that the Nets are outperforming expectation, but to be fair I do have (at least) 11 prospects slotted above Musa, and there's a very good chance the Nets pick will be top 11.
You've probably watched at lot more of him than I have, so I'm reluctant to offer critiques, but I'm not sure it's fair to call him a one-dimensional scorer. For instance, after last summer's Eurocamp DX wrote:
"Willingly getting his teammates involved and showing the type of unselfishness and maturity that scouts want to see from him, Musa didn't post huge numbers, but had an extremely positive performance nonetheless guiding his team to a blowout win, doing a number of little things to help them come out victorious."
If you draft him you're surely drafting him for his potential as a scorer, but I don't think his all-around game is *that* brutally underdeveloped.
Yeah you should watch him more lol. He's not a guy that will play make for his teammates too often for how much he has the ball. Routinely shoots step back threes against switches for example lol
He can become a better playmaker for the amount of attention he will be able to draw though. Otherwise he's similar to Jamal Crawford to me
Just shows how valuable this pick is. To use it or if someone significant is moved.I would not be disappointed in getting Sexton if we pick 7-9. He’s a baller. Much better player than Lonzo IMO.
Sign IT to a 3 year deal like Lowry with a 4th year team option , groom Sexton and let him be the backup, hopefully Wade sticks around to teach him how to run a unit.
