2018 NBA Playoffs

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Having CP to run the game and create for others is such a great luxury to have as well. Its an absolute must for contenders to have two players who can be 1st options on a given night. Because you are bound to have bad games. Need someone else to help you out.

I still find it hard to believe we traded Kyrie away and didn't replace him at all with All-Star level guard!

The Kyrie trade was a disastrous, horrible trade that could end up destroying any shot we have at a title.

A Kyrie for Chris Paul deal was probably available for like years and we never took it.

Last summer was really the first time it was possible. Not having a GM at the time is what really fucked that up more than anything else.

Simmons, Covington, Saric, and Embiid is so much length. None of them are shorter than 6'9. Put LeBron in there and slide Covington to the two? My god. Big lineup 1-5 and it's almost all switchable.

Are you seriously telling me, that when other teams run the pick and roll against you, you are allowed to fight through it and not switch PGS onto centers!!!????

Philly has changed the game. No one has EVER EVER refused to let their PG switch onto a center just because the team is freaking lazy

Covington is fighting his ass off everytime hes involved in a pick and roll. Its making the job easy for his center. If this were the Cavs, hed give up as soon as the pick came and switch onto Whiteside, then wed get mad when we cant play post D, and cry and complain for calls lol

lol

We never took it because Kyrie was happy

Man I'm cool with people talking about the trade, but when ppl start using hindsight shit like this, its annoying

Why would you trade Kyrie before the 2017 offseason? He gave no indication he was unhappy

Also I hate when ppl talk like keeping him was an option. He obviously needed knee surgery the whole time but played through it because he liked Boston. The way the season has unfolded I think its clear he would've just had it during the season if he was still a Cav

Wade with the underhanded vet move, and Anderson responded with a punch.

A weak punch, but a punch nonetheless.

Unrelated, I can't decided if it's the guards' faults or Whiteside's, but there's no excuse not to get more lobs for him. Maybe he needs to roll harder, but the guards almost never look for it. Maybe weakside is coming down to help, haven't noticed.

Kyrie is currently not playing and who knows how damaged he is going forward. How the lottery plays out will determine the success of the trade, but Kyrie made it pretty damn hard on us by waiting until Butler and George were gone before going public. It was a shitty situation all around, but I can't really fault the front office.

Philly looked more unstoppable without Embiid.

Embiid is obviously good, but he bogs the game down and misses close shots or turns the ball over, hell, he's had 11 turnovers in a game this season. He's special, but their previous offense was Golden State lite.

Yeah, Embiid should've waited. His presence also gives Whiteside a role on the court. His length is bothering Embiid.

I do agree they looked better without him.. but it’s his first game back after a couple weeks.. it’s his first game in the playoffs and it’s away in Miami which is a hard place to play at.. and he’s playing in a mask for the first time so it’s gotta be awkward..

I thought he should've played game 2 and so did he. It could've prepped him a little more for this important game on the road.
