2018 NBA Playoffs

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
He’s been amazing and is the biggest mismatch for sure... However, it’s Celtic-Rondo and his ability to control the pace of the game is what I’m most intrigued with in the series...

Celtic-Rondo plus Jrue Holiday taking a Chauncy Billups like late career leap. Those two are tough as have the size to switch on to multiple positions but are good PG's as well. That's a beast of a backcourt right now

Jrue Holiday is playing like the guy the expected him to be when they got him. Clark and Miller coming off the bench knocking down treys and Mirotic is ballin out of his mind. They have a better bench than GSW right now and they have a better defensive backcourt. Steph coming back off injury having to run into Rondo and Holiday? Have fun GSW.

Yup !! Obviously you’d want to see the Pelicans at full strength with Cousins as well— however the rhythm that everyone is playing with and set in their roles— it kinda makes me believe right now they’re playing much better without him than with him just because you’re getting such a high level of play from Davis...

That team is beyond intriguing at this point...

I can definitely see how a spacing big like Mirotic and Davis at Center could be better than Boogie and Davis. They have a really balanced attack going right now.

Told you all that Portland are a 1st round exit team. Lillard and Mccollum don't do shit in the playoffs.

Everyone's excited for a NOP/GS matchup until you remember the Pelicans' starting small forward is Etwaun Moore. I guess your best option for guarding Durant is Holiday, but then Moore and Rondo are on Curry and Klay, and that's just not good.

But really, the main problem is going to be scoring. I just can't see New Orleans scoring enough to keep pace with Golden State.

Only thing I'm looking forward to in that series is Rondo gooning it up
Don't worry, he will get hurt right before the Warriors will have to deal with him...its just their luck.

They've definitely got a GS-lite budding there in BOS, but the difference between them and GS is that the latter team came together as vets. Once Hayward and Smart come back, will there be enough shots for them plus Irving, Rozier, Tatum, Brown, and Horford?

Stevens is a superb XOs coach, but I want to see how he does in terms of culture building. Can he get them all to buy in?

Also this was good writing from a Blazers blog following their G3 loss.

No they can just let Smart go now. WHy keep him? Brown, Tatum, Rozier, Hayward. Why in the world pay marcus Smart?

They were never going to keep Smart. He's long gone.

You never told us that

Said in the Brooklyn Nets pick when we were entertaining Lillard/CJ trade ideas,

Lillard is going to choke in the playoffs. I'm telling you...they are a 1st round exit anyways.

and also said it during the game thread when we got beaten against Portland on their home floor.

I speak only the truth.
