2018 NFL SEASON Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
KC beat themselves tonight. And that defense, yikes. If KC is going to be a real threat to win it all. The defense has got a lot of work. They looked like Gregg Williams' defense from hell at times.

They have the worst starting middle linebackers in the league. Since there really aren't any good middle linebackers on the trade block, i'm hoping they make a deal for Patrick Peterson.

Callaway needs time to develop.

He has the raw talent but was thrust into a bigger role before he was ready.

I hope.

Yeah, you may be right. However, if that was the case, we shouldn't have given Gordon and Coleman away for nothing, or we should have made arrangements to bring in guys who were ready if we didn't trust either of them.

But to trade away two other WRs to roll with a guy who so clearly looks at least a year away just doesn't lend a lot of confidence in our WR evaluation, especially when coupled with how mediocre Landry has looked since getting paid, locker room speeches aside.

Based on the last four games, Callaway would be on pace for a 140 target season, and he looks nothing like a guy who should be getting 140 targets right now.

You are 100% correct.

Letting Gordon go with no replacement in mind seemed like a move rooted in an emotional response rather than a logical one.

They really need to bring in another veteran WR if they want to contend for the playoffs. Otherwise, they are going to continue to have issues.

Though in the long-run, not making the playoffs this year may have a better outcome considering it would mean firing Hue.

Also, can someone please Theisman Brady's legs? Take a roughing the passer. Just get this loser out of the league already.

What?

Why don't you like this guy.

This team just has no realistic shot of competing for a playoff spot with this coaching staff.

.500 this year would be an excellent season.

I have them pegged for 5-6 wins.

guys like Gordon, Coleman were some of the last players from that previous regimes toxic culture.

There's one last piece of that said "culture" still there and it is indeed, the coaching staff.

I mean, Gordon was from like six regimes ago. :chuckle:

SF can't hold onto shit.

The Rosen One already with 2 pick sixes in the 1st quarter.

Cardinals might be the only team in the league with a worse coaching staff than ours.

The way Arizona utilizes David Johnson is borderline criminal. This guy had over 800 receiving yards two years ago and he's on pace for fucking 360 this year. Every time he gets the ball it's the same run up the gut.

This makes how we utilize our backs look borderline competent.

Well, maybe not borderline competent. It makes our coaching staff look merely moderately incompetent?

Yeah, that feels better.

It’s mind-bottling.

Was a toss-up between him and LeVeon Bell for best all purpose back just a couple seasons ago.

Now he’s getting the “Metcalf Up The Middle” treatment.
