Malik Hooker is out for the Colts. By pretty much every PFF metric, Hooker is the best pass coverage safety in the NFL. He plays a huge role in the Colts' zone and preventing large passing gains.

It is. Where I'm at it isn't that bad thankfully. An hour away it was a lot worse.
It will be interesting how it affects the game. I think I'm more worried about our lack of experience but maybe it will be a good thing.

They attacked George Odum and JJ Wilcox on two passes down the middle. Colts are really missing Hooker. Darius Leonard also gets terribly confused for a guy who has played zone all year.

It really bothers me that Cam Erving figured it out. There are gifs of him getting owned as a Brown.

Mahomes was the highest graded passer in the league against cover 2 by a MASSIVE margin this year.

Yepppp!
I know I keep on saying it, but, Malik Hooker being out is so damaging to the Colts. First, that Cover 2 will get shredded by Mahomes anyways; but second, Cover 2 requires good safety play, which the Colts currently do not have.
