It seems like Bieber struggles when he gets to the third time around in a lineup, so maybe Francona has to pull him a little earlier than he would like in his starts. He is a good pitcher, but still needs to do some growing in this league and make better adjustments as the game goes along. That comes with experience, so hopefully we do get Bauer back for the playoffs.

Yes there is serious concern. There is concern that the games played — more specifically won — winthin the division — don’t actually count toward the regular season win column.

The Indians have been trying to figure out a way to argue this with Major League Baseball but the results have yet to be disclosed publicly.
