Think this is scary, you should see the 2019 version
Well fuck. At least our bats are coming around. Cleve has done really well over a long time so no worries. One bad inning in the last 50+ can’t complain.
Extremely disappointing...Can’t go around losing 4 run leads
Bullpen will be fine both this year and next year.
The Yankees super bullpen has already allowed twice as many runs as Cleveland's
Both bullpens will be fine
Not sure why people marked this as "funny". The Tribe has had a good bullpen the last 7-8 years, and it hasn't been all Cody Allen. The Front Office has always done a nice job putting a pen together, and Tito thrives in finding roles for his relievers that maximizes value.
Allen and Miller are options (although not both) to be re-signed, Salazar is an internal option, and there are plenty of free agents that will be on the market - Brad Brach, Kelvin Herrera, Jeurys Familia, Greg Holland, Craig Kimbrel, Brandon Kintzler, AJ Ramos, David Robertson, Sean Doolittle, Zach Britton, Justin Wilson, etc.
Will it be as good as Miller/Allen combo? Certainly not. Will they be fine? Absolutely.
Dude, losing one of Miller or Allen (likely Miller) will be an absolutely massive blow to the bull pen
If we lose both the bullpen will be shaky at best. We’re counting on Salazar to straighten that out? Cmon
I just listed 14 potential options for next year.
I’m sure the Indians will be major players for Zach Britton
Good news - If they aren't there's at least 13 other options.
Is there a makeup date set?
Gonna get this afternoon's game in?
Double header May 3rd
Today's game called too. Good thing, would have been embarassing for the city to have the blimp for the Cavs game showing break shots of an empty Progressive Field on the overhead shots of Cleveland.
The two games have been rescheduled for a doubleheader for 5/3. Was originally an offday for both teams. Are tickets on sale for this already?
