Its pretty obvious that the Indians need to do something with this lineup. They simply do not score without hitting a home run. They are wasting this superb pitching and unless they make a move or two this season is going to end in dissapointment

What can they do? What moves are out there? This was a glaring need after last season and nothing was done.

I would trade either Gomes or Perez...they both have value try to get an outfield bat...I would approach Baltimore about Machado knowing he'll leave after this year but the way I figure it this is our best shot for a while knowing we will lose Allen and Miller this off season. I'd try and trade Kipnis as well...he's alright but we can put Jose back at 2nd Machado at 3rd. We have prospects for a reason to use them to improve the team do we really know if they will pan out? If I'm the Indians I operate as though this is our window...The pitching is too good to waste and I don't think the Indians are going to run away with the division...Minny will be there until the end...I dont see any 20 game win streaks coming. I know alot of people believe they will hit but the same issues for 2-3 years are still problems....not advancing runners...unable to score from 3rd with less than 2 outs. Go for it now the future isn't promosed...that is all

If you stayed up watching that game last night then you're an faithful Indians fan. You're one of those 9k fans at Progressive Field on a cold April night. Congrats on that achievement.
With that said, Kipnis can't go soon enough, Yandy can't get called up soon enough, Jose can't move to 2nd and back hand a DP ball soon enough.
Yandy has a .400 OBP right now, we can use some of that. He's going to be 28 years old before he's an everyday player in the MLB.
Does it ever occur to any of you that our offense is suffering because we don't have a true blue leadoff hitter? We don't have Bruce and Santana in the middle to deliver. We made it to the WS with Lindor swinging in the 3 hole. We tried leading Kipnis off last year but he's a travesty. I'm trying to look at the big picture here, we're obviously going to win this division.
