Fun Fact #2 - Bradley Zimmer struck out in 7 of his first 8 games (14 K & 4 H). In his next 7 games, he has only struck out in 3 (3 K & 9 H).

Fun Fact #3 - Francisco "Puerto Bambino" Lindor leads the team in BA (qualified) with a white-hot .217 avg.​

Francona is one of the best managers in baseball. But the media needs to hold his feet to the fire when he screws up. Not once, not twice, but 3 times he ordered a sac bunt with a guy on second with no outs. All 3 failed. Somebody needs to remind him what the stats say. A runner on second with no outs has a 23% higher chance to score than having a man on third with 1 out. So Francona orders a sac bunt that, if successful. lowers your chance to score significantly. Couple that with the fact that sac bunts only work about 65% of the time (0-3 against the Twins), it makes even less sense. Having Lindor bunt in the 16th inning with guys on first and second with no outs was criminal.

He also should have left Goody in for a second inning instead of putting in Belisle who has been awful from spring training on. Goody was lights out. EE gives them the 1-0 lead. Play to win the game Tito. This is not little league where everyone gets a chance to play.
