What’s the best comparison for Garland? Curry? Kyrie? Somewhere in between?
It looks/sounds like he can shoot curry status, which is saying he could/should be at the very least an elite shooter.

From a scouting video i posted, the scout kept comparing him to Kyrie / Dame Lillard throughout the video with a sprinkle of Trae ...

I don't love Garland......but if John Beilein is grinning ear to ear, with how he has developed perimeter players of all play styles, that's enough to get more excited about him.

Ditto for Windler. Beilein is nearly slapping the white off his hands he's clapping them so hard.

His jumper is going to take him places. It's silky smooth and he can do it off the dribble or catch and shoot. And has elite handles to boot.

How he will develop, I don't know. But he has all the tools.

Well its not like he didnt have options. Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, Indiana & UCLA all made him an offer. He stayed close to home for college. Wont hate on him for that.

I am starting to come around on their ability to play with one another. If they can both get 4 assists or so this year I will be really happy. If Sexton adopts a drive and kick game and they play on opposite sides of the floor, I could see them wreaking havoc with Klove and his spacing. I hope Cedi is working on his playmaking because both Garland and Sexton can finish plays. I'd really like to have Zizic in the starting role so he can finish the pick and roll at the basket. We will see though. The floor is going to be much wider this year. I can't wait.

I really hope Garland is a better passer than he showed in College.
