2019 Draft Prospects Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I think no matter what we're going to be taking a DL player with our first pick simply because of how many good to elite players there in next years draft. Whether that means Gary, Lawrence, Simmons, Oliver or whoever is available I think that's a good place to start. Our LB's seem to have settled in better so guys like Devin Bush or Josh Allen probably won't be a priority. At CB I'm looking at Deandre Baker because Greedy will be gone by the second round but if Baker drops he's definitely worth picking up.

Just give me the best player available.

Elite talent, worry about fit and schematics later.

Agreed.

Other than QB, there's not really any other position on the roster that couldn't get stand to get upgraded or at least get a second high end starter. I would absolutely take a LT, CB or DE if they were the best player on the board even if those spots aren't necessarily "needs".

Some guys to keep an eye on who I'd expect to be in the middle to late(lol) first round.

Ed Oliver - Does he get slept on because of non-ideal size and potential status as a tweener? I'd guess no, but Aaron Donald didn't go in the Top 10 either. We'll put him on this list just in case.

Jonah Williams and Greg Little - I think the tackle prospects are very good to great. Analysts don't seem to think they're as elite as I do. Bringing in a true LT or RT while Harrison is on his rookie deal wouldn't be a bad look, IMO.

Dionte Thompson - Dude might be better than Malik Hooker was coming out, in spite of a small sample size. Insane ability to cover the field.

Kelvin Harmon - This guy gets slept on. Reminds me of Michael Thomas a couple of years ago, going to be overshadowed by less polished, more athletic prospects like Metcalf (as Thomas was by Treadwell/Coleman). But he's going to ball at the next level. True #1 potential and could reach it fast.

All five of these guys, IMO, are plug and play good additions with high ceilings.

Harmon is tremendous. IMO, best WR in the draft. Hes damn good playing with a shit, fake QB prospect.

I really like Josh Allen from UK. He would be a very nice contrast to what Ogbah brings.

Don't see how he slips outta the Top 5, but if we ever had the chance to take him. Hell yes.

How would you compare Harmon to a guy like AJ Brown? I haven't watched a lot of film on WR's from next years draft but most places I've looked at rankings Brown seems to be the consensus number 1.

Taller, longer, more polished.

Brown was my number one coming into the year too, but he’s been pretty disappointing to me.

Still think he’ll be a hell of a pro if he’s in shape. He’s in the late first early second mix I’m sure.

I've been sort of disappointed with both Ole Miss guys this year. Probably not all their fault, but I dont see a #1WR there.

Herbert is decent but the rest of the 19 class is horrible.
