How would you guys rate Plesac as a prospect?

Looking at Lynchburg, Kwan, Friis, Morgan and Hillman seem to be off to good starts, any of those guys to pay attention too?

I’ve always kept an eye on Morgan. He’s moved pretty quickly through the system with success due to a solid K-rate and a very low BB-rate. Similar to Bieber in that regard except he’s much smaller.

Hillman obviously has some talent given where he was drafted, but he’s never actually had a good season, so I’ll remain reserved until I see him sustain his success over a longer period of time.

Somebody finally put the ball in play against Karinchak

Stamets hits bombs, son.

Luplow and Stamets I believe both got a HR in last nights game. Barnes and Mercado both got 3 hits while Lindor went 0-4.

Oscar Mercado, three more hits.

OPS .818

I am still doubting he gets a call up this season, mostly because they want him to play everyday, and with the fact our OF is all Lefties outside of the switch hitter in Allen, makes no sense to call him up just to not get everyday ABs. Now towards the end of the season/playoff time frame, we could see him maybe get on the roster, but I feel we will add a veteran RH OF bat at the trade deadline if Allen/Luplow don't find a way to produce at the pro level.

Is this Will Benson thing real or nah? Is he really going to become the next bust out?

Anyone want to take bets?

I know he'll end up in Lynchburg at some point, but if they let him stay at Lake County, he could be a 40/40 guy this year

What is Oscar Mercado's ceiling? I've been following him a bit the past few seasons, but he's getting a ton of attention since the start of this spring.

+ Defense at a premium position

Having a tougher time pinning down a comp offensively. He completely re-tooled his swing since getting to Cleveland so its tough to rely on older data to judge ceiling.

If he becomes a .750 OPS guy with that defense, you're looking at a quality starter.

2-4 WAR guy.
