2019 MLB Trade Deadline

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I just want Bartolo as an entertainment factor at this point.

Unless Bartolo is coming in as a concessions consultant for the ballpark, I'll pass.

I understand we're giving up a haul in each scenario, more so for Chapman obviously, but do you think the Rangers and A's are actually willing to part with those guys with so much team control remaining for each?

I'm legitimately asking. I know the A's traded Donaldson when he still had a ton of years left, but they have to look at that in hindsight as a mistake, right?

I mean, everyone has a price, right?

Oakland says no; I think Chapman is near untouchable. The Indians give up quite a haul there, but I think Chapman is worth it

The Gallo one is interesting, because I don't really know where the Rangers are at with their rebuild or if they even are rebuilding or what their general plan is.

If the Indians were willing to part with those 3 players for a single player, I'd like to know who else could be had for that same package.

It would also help is Triston would be healthy and stay healthy.

I wonder what Whit Merrifield would cost. He's under control through 2023 at a very cheap rate, but he's already 30 and the Royals blow.

Would love to add him to the mix with Frankie and Jose at the top of the lineup.

Adam Eaton, with team options for 2020 and 2021 is another guy I'd look into with the Nationals struggling.

Merrifield got extended so it would cost way to much to get him, he is a key piece in the rebuild process, and I wanted Eaton from the get-go in the off season, but it was quiet on the trade front for him.

Chapman, Merrifield I feel are almost untouchable.

What would it take to get Givens and Mancini from Baltimore ya think? Mancini can play 1st as well, so it gives us a bit of flexibility going forward since he is under control for awhile.
