2019 NBA Draft

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Fuck this shit. Even more irritated that the Lakers, Knicks and Pelicans are in top 4. Grizzlies, whatever.

Trade the fifth overall away for a star.

Zion will make no difference in new orleans. Off the radar. We will get a quality player at 5

That's not happening.

First off? You're likely getting a "meh" player not a championship piece.
2nd off? Dude is bailing first chance he gets because that team won't contend for a title.

We're in tank mode for the next couple of years. I'd go with a boom or bust player here to just increase the odds we can get someone next year.

I think I heard an awful take from someone claiming that people in new orleans gave a shit about the pelicans and had better fans than OKC, Cleveland.

One of the dumbest takes. (From a Pacers fan)

No way in hell that's true. That place is non-existent for the NBA.

Interesting that 3 teams jumped into the top 4 was not expecting it.
Oh well, so much for an entertaining 7 yrs of Zion.
I hope the org does it's homework on the likely available players.
I think they have to be looking at Hunter,Culver, and Bol pretty heavily at 5.

I guess I'd settle for De'Andre Hunter or reach for Bol Bol. Fuck it.

Coby White or Deandre Hunter.

That's where I'm at too. Hachimura might be in that tier for me. I think Garland is too much of a unknown and I just don't like Culver's game. I wouldn't count out Cam Reddish because of his upside.

If I'm trying to prevent my 1st from conveying next year, I take the lottery ticket Bol, bring him back slowly, and reload ping ping balls next year. Completely justifiable.

Culver had a pretty good game against Michigan and knocked them out of the tournament. Wonder what Beilein thinks of him.

As much praise Griff might get in the coming weeks, he really screwed us with the protections on the draft pick. I think we won't see top 10 protected now.

We might be tanking hard next year because 3 teams jumped up tonight. Now we can't risk being at #7 or #8 in odd and risk losing the pick. People say it couldn't happen before will now realize that Griff only putting top 10 protection really held us back another year.

Big guys with injury problems, especially when Bol's father had a lot of the same problems, are a big no for me.

if you're taking bol bol that high? It's with the interest of "punting" until next each year and giving it a go.

Finding an all-star level talent is not unlikely at this point if they do their homework.

But the franchise "replacement" for LeBron is out the window for the forseeable future.
