2019 RCF NFL Mock Draft - Commentary

When we get a grade like ours, we simply say: it’s too early to judge these moves and Keys is just producing clickbait at RCFPN. This is how we deter the fans from paying attention to the particulars of a lackluster offseason.

Great story. Really.

I don't read articles that grade a draft or a trade right after they happen. Then, just like every year, some people demanded this type of analysis.

Here's how grading will work in the future: Did you annoy me? If so, you get a C. Did you manage not to annoy me? You get an A.

I'm grading like I'm tenured from now on.

Dude I was joking. I was referring to how fan bases typically overreact to both good and bad grades and they do so. I was just kind of poking fun/bashing myself for making some questionable decisions.

Sorry you thought I’d be like that after I directly reached out expressing gratitude for how you helped me out. I appreciate the time you, and everyone else put into this thing to make it fun and interesting.

Right on - I missed the sarcasm, most likely because of my mental state. It's been a long week with my three year old's preschool closed. Appreciate it.
 
I was a B+ student, now I'm a B+ mock drafter.

Some things never change...I'll take it!

I drafted 4 players for your information! An Edge player, the tall cornerback, a Heisman finalist RB and a safety that was already taken so the next guy up.

I actually really liked the Bryce Love pick. The safety was meh. I stand by the C, but I'm glad you volunteered to do the draft grades next year instead of me. Time Keeper is time consuming enough.
 
I had Jags and Bears, Jags being tied for worst grade and Bears not recieving a grade because of lack of picks. I played this perfectly as I can only go up next year.

The Bears receive an A. At no time in their two picks was I ever slightly annoyed. Wow, what a draft!
 
With the 2023 mock draft sign-ups underway, I felt it would be a good time to bump old mock drafts for posterity.
