2019 Series #24 | Indians @ Rangers | June 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Seems like you ignored my post. People aren't ignoring the stats you posted dude. There just isn't always a lot to add to facts/stats because they are what they are.

I have posted stats before and then other people post them on the next page and gets likes and everything and I got nothing. It happens quite a fair amount on here :conf (11): but its whatever. Its the norm for me.

Next game starts in an hour, with Bieber going against Minor who has been having a very good year! Though I wish we didn't play Martin against lefties though! I think we are what 14-8 or something like that against lefty starters this season, so far its been a good year against lefties even though we aren't on paper a great roster against lefties.

But if you actually look at my whole statement, then you would know it wasn't that way at all. He was a 12th round pick, who had tommy john surgery his senior year of college and instead came back stronger afterwards. That is a testament to his attitude and the fact that he wanted it and now he has a chance to prove himself and he is out there proving himself. That is an it factor I am talking about, that you need to make it since no matter what has been thrown his way, he has overcome it, but I guess the way I say things, just don't come out the way I intended I guess since I did not say that way at all.

Last time I'm going to respond to this train of thought.

Nobody is ignoring parts of your posts. Nobody is taking you out of context. Here is your entire post, which I already quoted, in entirety.

I mean they probably couldn't hit any worse than our teams first part of the season! lol

Also you gotta give Plesac credit though since he has the moxie for the pros, just can his stuff and ability to adjust keep him in the pros will be the question mark, but so far he mentally is up to the task of pitching in the pros.

You credit his "moxie." You question his "stuff and ability."

Stop playing the role of a martyr when you say dumb shit. I like having you around, but this little game you play is incredibly obnoxious. Take step back and read thing you write. How annoying would it be to meet a person who acts like this:

Anytime I say anything that cannot be measured aka the human factor in the equation, that always gets pointed out and the rest seems to be ignored completely on almost every single post on here. I have stated just stats and usually just gets ignored so I will just post my way since it doesn't seem to matter either way.

You're just being over-dramatic now, based on nothing.

Its a waste of time.

Honestly if you look at the post that started this whole mess, then you would see everything that I said not just the statement that was picked out. Plesac at the moment is really a two pitch pitcher, he has a good fastball, and his slider and change up are solid overall, but if you look at the numbers, he only pitches them to a hitter on one side or the other (slider to righties and change up to lefties if I remembering everything correctly without looking it back up, which I broke down in the first post). Pitchers usually have the advantage the first time around and his stuff is solid and he can improve but he will not be able to keep up what he is doing unless he learns to get something like his curveball/another pitch that is pitched to both sides so a lot of what is making him good is the fact he doesn't back down and isn't afraid to attack hitters, but he will come back down to earth as a starter if he doesn't figure out another pitch that he can trust to throw in any situation. That is why I said his stuff since he still needs another pitch in due time that can help mix in since in due time, people will sit on one of the two pitches that he uses and eventually that will hurt him so he still has some growing and that growing will say if he will make it long term in the pros or not. His mental makeup is all there for him to succeed, now he just has to get his stuff to succeed long term.

Quite frankly, I've always found people who try and portray rises in velocity or any talent based attribute to "being a gamer" or "having the right makeup" is disrespectful to the athlete who busts his ass to build up more velocity.

But hey, don't let that stand in the way of pulling arguments out of thin air to talk sports with the boys.

I agree, and a post like this shows allot of moxie on your part.

I've overcome everything thrown at me, quite sincerely.

You're right. His stuff doesn't quite measure up to Bieber, Bauer, Clev, Kluber, and Carrasco. It remains to be seen whether he maintains success over a longer period of time.

However, this thing about intangibles is still going because you wouldn't let it go. I made a quick dismissal of of Plesac playing up to competition, and tried to move on from the conversation. You kept trying to defend it. That's fine, but if you're going to keep defending it, expect responses.

Tribe down early. Let’s hope this offense can bounce back.

Bauers, he's young, of course you keep him.

Kipnis, he's like our only reliable 2B as of now, of course you keep him.

Jose, struggling just as much as Leonys, but you obviously wait and hope for the best.

Leonys, struggling, there's better in the system behind him, you obviously DFA him and wish him the best.

I don't know what the Indians are doing keeping him around.

Mercado, Santana and Luplow combine to rally. One run in, Santana/Luplow on 2nd/3rd with two outs. Jose at the plate.

Early in the count, swings at a ball that's low and outside, lazy pop out to LF.

He's frustrating this year.
