#25: ATH, Jabrill Peppers

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The Athletic goes over ways that Jabril may contribute on offense. Thought this was interesting-- It would be pretty crazy to see Mr. Peppers get some snaps from center, but maybe crazy in a good way..

Wildcat QB

This is the role I see Peppers stepping into immediately. He had a lot of success running the football at Michigan from this position and the Browns already have the role built into their offense. When Terrelle Pryor bolted in free agency to Washington, it left a void in the playbook. Peppers can instantly step in.
Just as long as he can pass it. The wildcat never works if you don't throw it once and awhile.

Peppers has a good arm but asking a non college QB to throw at the pro level is a recipe for disaster IMO.

As someone who watched a lot of Michigan football, his value on offense is not as a wildcat QB. He's not a great zone read player. He just doesn't have the natural instincts for reading the edge and making the right decision....he tends to try to be a hero a lot.

Where he can be valuable is as a change of pace runner. He has great instincts and vision and is a capable pass catcher.....I hope the team uses him as a traditional TB or even an HB that they move around and run creative plays to (shovel pass, swing pass, motion in to the backfield, etc.)

Putting him in the WC is a waste of his talent IMO.

Lets be clear about one thing: I do drugs.

This was really well done. Can't front, got a little choked up at the end. Browns obviously had a ton of interest in him.

The real question is was the dance to 'Atomic Dog' before or after he got picked? If it was before, what a great piece of foreshadowing.

Song/Dance had nothing to do with the Browns or the Dawg Pound.

He's a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. That's one of their signature dance steps and songs.

Cle media will not stop asking Peppers about drugs/drug testing. Jesus Christ.

Yeah, I didn't think it was played to be Browns related. Just kind of funny when the song literally says "Nuthin' but the dog in me..."

Someone plz post some of the questions

I hit Jabrill with an OH- before the game last night. Let's just say he wasn't exactly pleased, but Go Browns anyways.
