#65: Larry Ogunjobi, DT, Charlotte

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Kamara only had 229 fewer yards from scrimmage than Hunt, despite 124 less touches.

Hunt: 325 touches, 1782 scrimamge yards (5.5 ypt), 11 TD. Really fucking good
Kamara: 201 touches, 1553 scrimmage yards (7.7 ypt!), 13 TD. Absolutely insane

And that's not including Kamara's 31.5 yard kick return average or his 1 kick return TD

Feel a lot better about drafting Larry in our rcf mock draft now! :biggrinthumb:

Larry has a very bright future in the NFL. He is a people mover. If can learn some pass rush, he could be an awesome interior lineman.

The interior defensive linemen snap counts broke down as such in 2017:

Coley 61%
Shelton 44%
Larry O. 28%
Brantley 20%
Meder 16%
McGill 4%

Im sure there were plays the team put three DE on the line with one DT. The group had decent health outside of Shelton, who has been struggling to make it through the whole season without getting banged up. Lots of opportunities to get banged up controlling the lone of scrimmage, can't blame Shelton too much. That's why I'm glad the position of DT seems two deep.

How can Kareem Hunt who lead the NFL in rushing as a rookie get a lower grade than Kamara?
Hunt was actually pretty worthless for about a 4 game stretch. And was mediocre for another 4. Drove me insane having him on my fantasy team

MVP of the second preseason game. One huge sack, two key tackles near the LOS, and drew a hold that could have been another sack. Buffalo's line had no answer for Larry O. If his replacements on the second unit, Jeremy Faulk and Zay Henderson, make the team we are in big trouble.

He gets off the line so quickly. Ogunjobi goes the millisecond the ball gets snapped.

Yeah so I don’t remember the last time I was THIS wrong on a prospect. Like I’ve had plenty of swings and misses, but I wasn’t even in the batters box on this one

Should have 4 sacks through 2 games if not for that extremely ticky tacky illegal contact call

What’s more, having a DT that’s able to play 80% of team’s snaps while still having such a high motor is remarkable.

Teams aren’t going to be leaving guards to handle him in pass pro alone for long... he’s gonna be someone who demands help

Crazy that he's the first guy ever from his program to make an NFL roster too.
