The cleveland.com forums are absolutely pathetic. It's just a bunch of 13 year olds trying to cause trouble. They are also terribly moderated.

I think the most shocking story is that Strongsville is 0-4. They are always a terrific team so it is very strange to see them with such a bad record. They have had some tough breaks and close games. Also, Avon Lake, who is usually a model of consistency in the SWC, is 1-3. They most likely need to win out to make it to the playoffs.

It sure does seem as if the transition to Division I for Mayfield has been seamless. Tough game against Solon is a couple weeks though.

Solon is tough. They will need to play almost perfect ball to win. I must say that Mayfield has played them well in recent years considering the troubles in the past against them.

ugh... i think i looked at the score of 2 games... Its going to be a long time before we see the playoffs again. 2007 was the last year for awhile.

i could really give a shit about high school football, or high school sports for that matter, but even after graduating, it still makes me happy to see mentor lose
