A New Beginning

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Yeah. At this point, I'd even entertain not hastily trading Love this season, unless a great deal gets on the table. Really would like to see "Cleveland" Love with the youngsters.

JR and Hill would be the first players I would try to deal with JR being number one ☝ by a huge margin.

yep, also glad to see many of lebrons old coaches, s&c guys etc being let go. No real angst on LBJ but all lasting vestiges of him should be gone

My only problem keeping him is he is fighting father time at 37. How many players play that long? We don't want to be hanging on to him when he takes the inevitable turn and his value goes completely out the window.

His shooting isn’t going anywhere, and he’s always praised for keeping himself in peek condition.

Korver will be a commodity at the trade deadline, as teams will be looking to make moves, esp ones that provide shooting.

Teams like Philly, minn, OKC, Houston, Washington may add him (I believe next year he’s minimally partially guaranteed) for a second or two.

Let's get a good "supplement" clinic just like in Miami for starters and refer every draft pick and new acquisition there, and see how it goes. I bet we will look real good.

I like the idea...but you gotta start with the basics.

Yeah, as someone who has a home in Florida, I’ve seen the plaza “anti-aging” clinics myself first hand. No doubt that plays a part, but that is there to be had anywhere when you’re in that tax bracket. Honestly I just want to see a team that gets out and plays perimeter defense and is a pain in the ass to play. We’re not going to be good for awhile, but we can be that team that plays dogged defense and just gives out 100% effort. We’ve been that talented veteran team for awhile that coasts through the regular season and that’s fine when you have a finals ticket every year, but the regular season is all we have for the foreseeable future, and we have an opportunity to establish a new culture around these kids, and I’d like it to be one based on coming to play hard for 48 every night, and that requires being fit. Even before Lebron, and in his absence those 4 years, we weren’t that. We had an out of shape Waiters and a bunch of guys like that. With young guys like Sexton and Cedi who work their ass off, and veterans like Korver who has clearly stayed in tremendous shape, we have an opportunity to set a tone that carries over where guys who come know they are expected to work their ass off in the gym. That’s what I’d like to see.

Saw that Waiters is being shopped.. JR of Dion: Waiters can finally have it be "his team"!

If the Cavs are serious about building a new culture that is the one to follow. And Young Bull, Cedi and Nance will show the way. Would love to see Zizic, Clarkson and Hood buy in and all of them take control of the team.
It is maybe the one reason I would like to see Delly back even though he might not be the greatest fit. But what the hell is the difference if he is not a great fit. We are not contending anyway. Just think he would be a good mentor to the young guys

I do not see Korver or Love being an issue.
I do see JR and Hill being an issue in that front

Not sure about TT. If he is serious about becoming a star then good for him....and us. He will be useful for awhile and up his trade value at the deadline. Up to he fell into Kardashian Hell I had no issue with TT. he was what he was...limited in areas but High Energy. Looks like she sapped his strenght last year...or maybe the injury too

Cannot wait til trade deadline and most of the old guard is gone

Yeah as to TT he would have already had that in him if he was going to be more than just a basketball player. He doesn't seem to have drive, and he sure as hell doesn't workout much with the weights so it looks anyways. Either you have that drive or you don't.Plus, like you stated up to the Kardashian situation, I also didn't have any issues with him. Now Im not just so sure where his head his exactly?
Drama is never a good thing

I had a friend who told me that 2 alpha types just don't work together. I don't know if it is really true across the board, but I have seen it over and over. If you try to think of a real star basketball player and their superstar wife, which one worked out? It seems like the dedication you need to basketball can't handle a high profile partner there. Maybe I am totally wrong, but this is the 4th basketball player that has seen a major dropoff in play while dating a Kardashian. That is a pattern not an anomaly.

Cvas are 3 for 3 in players that have gotten reality shows and failed as players.
