A trip from Slovenia to Cleveland for the season opener

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Now the tickets on StubHub have climbed to 400$ for the upper levels. The price should drop in the next 4-5 weeks right?
Are there any more sites so I could follow the price of the tickets?

Have the plane tickets now, have the tickets for the game and the reservations for the hostels so mostly everything is bought or reserved. Still can't believe this is actually happening.
Now I have another question. I know it's a long long long shot and I feel kind of like a douche for even asking this, but is there any way of contacting the team and get some type of access to them or anything resembling that. It doesn't have to be much, I don't even know what or if it is possible, but a guy can dream.

I know there is basically no chance of this happening, cause then everybody would want stuff like this. Still I'm asking, cause it's probably a once in a lifetime opportunity for me and because I'm a guy who likes to dream.

Tweet the team. Let them know what you're doing and where you're coming from and hopefully they should get back to you :)

Sounds awesome. Definitely contact the team (they're pretty responsive to twitter), and I bet they will at least hook you up with a gift bag or something, maybe more. Also, depending on when you're going to be in Toronto, the Cavs also play there Oct 28th. I've heard that tickets there are really expensive, but just some food for thought.

Nice suggestion, I'll actually get to Toronto right on the 28th :chuckle: I be happy if they at least acknowledged that I'm going and any small gesture would be awesome. Just getting a response would be phenomenal for starters.

Hi - as you are weighing getting tickets on StubHub, I thought I'd share an update on availability.

There was a presale of tickets today for those who have a partial ticket plan but who did not receive opening day.

Not that it will surprise anyone, but the game is steep. Allegedly the cheapest tickets from the team will be $95. I could only find $125. Significantly large sections of the upper deck sidelines are $300 per seat. Lower bowl and club seats were in the $400-600 range for club and corners. I didn't see anything on the sidelines in the lower bowl but prices go as high as $9,995.

From what I can tell - tickets moved slowly. I know there's a public sale planned for tomorrow and I think you may be able to get tickets then, directly from the team and possibly into the upper deck for $125-$200 instead of paying stubhub $300.

Edit: Nevermind. You have tickets. So this was in no way helpful!

Got the ticktes for 190$ a piece+fees on TicketCity in section 206 in the upper level. Not the best tickets but still, but not behind the basket and I'll be at the game at least. Still far cheaper than anything else I saw:alc:
Just need to figure out FlashSeats right now. Can only register with a US address so I just used the hostel one and added my VISA as ID. Hope everything will go through without problems.

I tried to buy home opener tickets today as soon as they went on sale. I don't know how I could have clicked into the system any faster, but despite over an hour of trying, I got a "[c]ould not find enough seats in your selected section" message 99% of the time.

Once, I was offered a single seat in a midcourt Loudville section for $395. Shocked at the high price, I assumed the offer had to be an error and declined. But looking at the Cavs seat viewer, the "Starting Single Game Price" for all sections are unbelievably high!

Did the Cavs jack up the face value of tickets for the home opener only? I know for a fact that Loudville seats were going for much less than $395 per game to season ticketholders... I had no idea the Cavs could/would raise the prices for the opener only.

Now I'm back to looking at the options on Flash Seats and StubHub. I have to be there!

Yes - the Cavs adjust ticket prices and substantially raise single game pricing for premium games.

Most Wine & Gold members do not get opening day with the the way the Cavs set-up ticket plans. With 41 home dates, the most popular plans are 20 regular season game and 10 regular season game packages. The last few years - opening day has been the 1 home date removed from those plans to get to an even amount of dates to split. That tends to pump up the demand for opening day as well as it's really only those who commit to a whole 41 game plan that get the reduced rate.

Does anyone know when the tickets are usually transferred to a FlashSeats account? Cause I still don't have them.

We've arrived to Cleveland. It's 3:30 am but I'm still pumped. We'll probably wait at the train station till dawn, then go around the city a little bit. Any recomendations what to do until our check in at 3pm?
