All Star 2017

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
All Star games aren't usually any good, but this was especially bad, no?

Unless a bunch of cool stuff happened in the first half that I missed.
LeBron put on a really nice show in the first half. He had a lot of nice highlights. Giannis too had a lot of sick dunks. But that is about it.

Best part of this game:

Kyrie Irving: 22 minutes, 14 assists

Wall/Kemba/IT/Lowry: 78 minutes, 13 assists

The "more true PGs of the east" were all out assisted on an individual basis by: Harden(SG), Durant(SF), Marc Gasol(C), Draymond Green(PF), DeMar DeRozan(SG)

LeBron and Ky put on a good show. Steph got dunked on.

But top to bottom, I think this was the worst All Star weekend I've seen. There was just no energy or excitement in any of the events. The Warriors players getting roasted was like the best part.

Why is Reggie putting it on the fans like it is our fault that the players aren't trying? Who ever said that is what we wanted to see? I think everyone wants to see much more competitive basketball like it used to be.

edit: wrong thread, screw Reggie Miller tho

KD with a trip double. Also gave a nice lob to Westbrook in the first.

The competitiveness of games has tapered off since many years ago (mainly because guys don't want to play D). Probably because of the insane contracts these guys get.... Can't afford to get hurt.

One think I learned from this All-Star game, DeMar DeRozan has the basketball IQ of a shoe

Every single player is taking an easy layup, dunk or a wide open 3PT shot, but no DeMar is special he just can't resist bricking those long contested fade away 2's, like dude its the AllStar game nobody is playing defense lmao

I commented in the LBJ thread right after but I appreciated how much he didn't play in this game more than anything. Get your rest somewhere
