That Amar'e Safari turned me from a full time unregistered lurker to a donating, part time lurker

Just a whole lot of good byes this offseason. Too bad he never was a Cav, I'll take the ring though.
 
Glad we never got him. he would have helped us that one year maybe. When was his eye fucked? Wasn't that the same year as the original safari?

I remember that week. The first time I wad glued to this site. It birthed my fandom
 
Fucking Steve Kerr killed this dream...... Luckily we ruined his perfect finals record as player and coach last June.....

That kinda sums him up as a player. And tells you what a jackass this guy really is.

Wanted the limelight. That's why he went to New York to begin with. But that's where he failed.

I never thought he got it upstairs. Kinda proof of this when he feels he should retire there.

His career was a joke in New York.

His first year was excellent, still vintage Stoudemire, then it was down hill from there. I am sure he made it a few times.

He wasn't a bad player there, but he definitely wasn't playing in the twilight of his career there either.

New York would have gladly given him away for majority of his career there. He wants to be remembered as that guy?

Only an odd ball like him would want to be remembered at the downside of his career.

That's one thing I really liked about how business was run after LeBron' s return. They took risks and never looked back.

Danny would of never been so bold. Zack Randolph for Wally no thanks. Shaq for Wally no thanks and of coarse we run into Howard in the playoffs. Shaq would of changed the way we played them and would of been a great matchup vs LA and Bynum in the finals to. Z and JJ for Amare no thanks. If we won that year LeBron maybe stays and Amare probably signs long term.

I think after that Larry Hughes move Danny was never taking a risk again

It all worked out in the end but never liked the missed opportunities and passive thinking
