Andrew Wiggins

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
# 62 in RPM amongst small forwards just behind former CAVS Joe Harris and Omri Casspi is pretty good for the first player in a draft in his 3rd year.

Watching those Duncan video's the Wolves would be lucky if they got a 2nd for Wiggins.

Clearly I'm not a Wiggins guys and even though he doesn't do much of anything else he's still a talented albeit in-efficient scorer. Since he's still very young that would still put in him a mid tier or better lottery pick. If I was doing a redraft from that year he would be out of the top 3 but he'd be there after either 4 or 5.

He's not even 21 yet...

He will be in line for a big fat contract soon. If you were an owner would you pay him? Do you see an all star talent? Why not just get Omri Casspi?

Id be calling up Chicago and offering a deal centered around Wiggins for Butler. I'm convinced LaVine is the better player. Is strike now before someone else swoops in.

They would need to add Dunn and perhaps another pick for Butler.

What's in it for Chicago

I know this is a joke, but I do still think people think highly of Wiggins ceiling. It's a 6'8 athletic as hell wing scoring 20+ points a game prior to turning 21.

That said, Minnesota needs to move fast, because I could see some other teams offering things that Chicago might like better.

Like Portland could offer a deal centered around McCollum. Now you're in a bidding war and picks on picks are gonna have to be added.

It's half joking, but also rooted in truth.

I think you would be ecstatic if you're Minnesota and Wiggins turns out to be as impactful of a player as Butler. I mean we're talking about a top 20 (I personally think top 15) player under contract from the old cap until 2020.

I really think they can get more of a sure thing than Wiggins. I agree with you I think a team would certainly top that offer for Butler.

Have you seen anything new about the Bulls shopping him? Or just piecing things together since they're pretty horrendously built?

Somebody, I think Ric Bucher, sadly, posted something about the Bulls actively shopping BUtler. So, you know, it's Ric Bucher, but it's been picked around the various blogs, particularly Boston.

I think the Nets should get in on the Butler action. They can cook up a deal centered around Joe Harris.

Only in your mind does the Joe Harris is better than Andrew Wiggins thing make sense.
