Here are my two match-ups this week.

PPR league...

Me:
QB - Tom Brady
RB - Jamaal Charles
RB - LeVeon Bell
WR - Calvin Johnson
WR - Jordy Nelson
TE - Travis Kelce
FL - Julio Jones (pending injury status)
D/ST - Ravens (also have the Rams...still debating)
K - Stephen Gostkowski

Him:
QB - Drew Brees
RB - Arian Foster
RB - Kerwynn Williams (he just picked up Asiata, so he might play him instead)
WR - Mike Evans
WR - Andrew Hawkins
TE - Jimmy Graham
FL - Mike Wallace
D/ST - Browns
K - Steven Hauschka

I'm feeling good about this one. My team is clearly better, so I just have to hope that my guys don't all shit the bed like they almost did last week.

His team was the best in the league, tied with me for a 9-5 record and outscoring me over the season by about eighty points. This is going to be a tough one. I need basically everyone on my roster to have a good game.
 
Any under the radar pickups? I have an open slot and TY Hilton is scaring me.

Devin Hester and Trent Richardson are available. I just picked up Silas Redd because idk why but Morris is banged up and Helu may be out.

Match-up 1 - I am feeling you all day. Especially if you get Julio back. Who else do you have on your bench if Julio is out?

Match-up 2 - A lot closer. He's got you on RB's (except Forte is playing the Lions, he did shit on them on Thanksgiving. But I hope he blows up b/c I have him in my championship) WR are almost equal. Gordon and Edelman both could have blowout games or shit the bed. More than likely Gordon will shit the bed.

That will be a really good championship game.

Me:
Stafford @ CHI - Like it a lot. Bears D is shit
Cobb @ TB - Cobb is just good.
M. Evans vs GB - Evans vs sub-par GB D. Redzone machine if TB can get there
M. Wallace vs Minn. - Hit or miss for Wallace, like always.
Forte vs DET - He sucked it up against them on Thanksgiving. He will be big part this time
Hill vs DEN - All depends on amount of touches he gets. Keep Gio off the field. RZ carries
Bennett vs DET - Had 100+ on them on Thanksgiving. They can be beat by TE's
Graham vs ATL - Sucks generally. Hoping NO puts up TD's to get 5 XP & 1 30-40yd FG
BUF @ OAK - En fuego lately. Now lets keep it up against shit OAK. In blackhole though.

Him:
Brees vs ATL - Scares the shit out of me. At home against shitdick ATL.
E. Sanders @ CIN - Bengals can stop the pass. DEN has been running. Keep it that way.
Calvin @ CHI - If he gets a TD, my QB gets points. But how about you throw to Tate?
K. Benjamin vs CLE - Haden playing? D has been slacking. Hit or miss.
Bell vs KC - Can stop the run but Bell is just stupid good. Scares me.
J. Stewert vs CLE - Can we stop the run? DeAngelo is supposed to be back? That helps
Fleener @ DAL - Dwayne Allen came back. That helps me a lot.
Parkey @ WSH - Kickers are dumb. I am guessing ~10pts from his K which sucks for me.
Baltimore @ HOU - Great, great match-up for him. This one could suck for me.


I say it's about even. We split in the regular season, so it all comes down to what fantasy is all about....

You have the skill to draft the players/pick people up mid-season and set up a great team to make a playoff/championship run..and you have the luck of the players just having monster weeks.

Yeah, drafting well is important. But really, it all just boils down to luck. Will your guys have big weeks when it counts? Will your opponent's guys have bad weeks? I got lucky in my PPR league this week. My team was mediocre, but my opponent's guys, who took him to the best record in the league, were worse. If I had put up my point total from this week in round one, I would have lost my match-up. But in round two, I still put up the most points in the league.

Similarly, in my half PPR league, I would have beat the guy I'm playing in the championship last week, but he'll probably murder me this week. It's all just luck. :chuckle:

I think I could have picked up Asiata too instead of him grabbing him...maybe not.
 
What are you guys doing about murray? All reports are saying that he will be a game time decision. I picked up his backup. I also have anderson mccoy I can start if murray doesn't go

The problem for you is that McCoy plays Saturday. Obviously your ideal starting lineup is Murray and Anderson right now. Given that it's unlikely that Murray will be announced as the starter until Sunday (if at all), you pretty much have to play McCoy. You basically got fucked by the schedule gods.
 
Lol so I'm probably going to have to plug Decker in for Murray.. talk about a major boner kill...

Oh I know. They have been screwing with me all year. Most of the year it was projected 140, net 100. Then three weeks ago it was projected 140, net 170+. Same thing two weeks ago. Last week same 140 projection, 100.

Do I start Gordon? I'm hoping johnny actually "let's the ball rip". I got jordan Matthews on my bench. Gordon or matthews? Julius thomas has been killing me. Picked up Owen daniels. I want to stick with Julius bc I got peyton and if they hit for 2 tds. I pretty much win. Now, peyton...cam newton on waivers....

Starting rbs are Demarco and tre mason. Tre got a nice matchup against the giants. On my bench I have latavious Murray vs buffalo. Doug martin against GB.

Last but not least. Picked up Carolia's defense. Obviously they got the browns at home, or do I go with baltimore at houston. I like both.
