It's a miracle this franchise is still in town.
We've actually had TWO dudes named Gregg as our head coach.

Did anyone actually like him as a coach?Wylie went from one of the most loved former coaches to one of the most hated in a few days. Impressive.

I always thought people just liked him as a meme from hard knocks.

You just described a whole lot of current NFL coaches.Did people actually like Wylie?
He was a strange dude that said stupid shit and was morbidly obese trying teach athletes how to move the correct way without being able to move himself.
I know that ultimately Kitchens will be judged by the team's performance on the field, as he should, but if this video isn't a striking change from all of the Hue mic'd up moments in Hard Knocks.
Freddie just feels like a REAL football coach where most of Hue's interactions with others felt almost forced, like a politician trying to coax players and coaches into listening to him through weird manipulation tactics, which apparently only his ego thought would work.

So, we've seen Freddie all offseason - in camp and during practice, as well as addressing the media. He has been great so far. But now, we've finally gotten the chance to see him in two preseason games on the field. What do you guys think so far?
I love the emotion. He will get angry or happy and he will show it. I hated seeing Hue on the side with the same dumbfounded expression no matter what happened on the field. Even before him it seemed like we would have coaches who weren't fired up (Pettine, Shurmur, Romeo, etc...). It finally feels like our entire TEAM is one fired up, passionate unit. Everyone is in sync and my gut feeling is that this team will be special. I predicted 10-6 but my homer-self is seeing 11-13 wins being possible.
