Sorry if posted earlier but 3 million to be paid out to the castiles.

Did he also use a cologne or after shave that smelled like booze? This is some next level trickery right here.
Honestly he shit his pants on more than one occasion. We think he just fell over stuff a lot and saved face

Apparently Mike Browns family also got 1.5.

I get philandos settlement, but that one's nuts

I assume this is the point where it's OK to talk amongst each other w/o Tornicade's permission? People were done w/ this yesterday, and that's why we were moving on w/ our own chat before you, literally, threw a tantrum that Q, DJ and I dared to have a conversation on a tangent (IN A THREAD PACKED W/ TANGENTS) but because it didn't mean YOUR narrative.

If you've come to this type of response, I trust you got your attention fill?
what tangent? that good Samaritans charge to the rescue? that implies recklessness. hence my response.

how safe are gun carrying cictizens who venture on a crime scene?

I guess we will see how the St Louis investigation comes out.

I brought up how that off duty cop brought up would impact citizens who carried weapons.... so you think I am just gonna skip the discussion?

Is this a hate crime? If the roles were reversed would it be a hate crime?

Could be but That's just a day in the life of an Anglo Appalachian.. What does your police training tell you? I do know if I see that lady throwing the unches on the street . I will make sure not to offer her any cold chicken

Edit... After further research this occurred in Baxley Georgia. too far south in Georgia to be identified as Anglo Appalachians . My apologies those are southern white folk.

Not a hate crime.

I agree. How about if the roles were reversed?

Would the consensus be that it was because of the color of their skin? Would there be a public uproar declaring racial intolerance?

I just cant imagine in the reverse situation that cold chicken would be served in the first place.

It flat out wouldn't qualify either way.

The parallel to draw here would be people claiming a black guy is shot because he's black and the cop is racist. That would happen, regardless of the evidence.

Honestly, advertising any of these crimes is going to have a bad effect. It doesn't exactly settle people. That video suggested ten other similar videos, wgite on black and black on white crime, with another about a race war. I don't recommend anyone going down that rabbit hole.

this article was run nationally and while it may have been placed in some video bin category white on block...the story here is that they (regardless of color) beat the shit out of someone over being served cold chicken..

that's just plain funny.

here is one of the articles associated with the video

A Georgia restaurant owner and her teenage daughter say they were brutally attacked Thursday by a couple who complained that they were served cold chicken, according to local news reports.

Jeanette Norris told WTOC-TV that a couple who purchased two meals from her Qwik Chick takeout stand on Thursday complained that their chicken was cold and that they did not receive enough fries. Norris said after some back-and-forth, she refunded the meal, but the couple were still irate.

"She went berserk," Norris told WTOC-TV. "They both lost it, him and her both started cussing and beating on the window."

Security video shows Norris confront the couple outside of her Baxley, Ga., restaurant and the female customer begin beating her.

In the video, Norris' 15-year-old daughter tries to intervene, but the male suspect punches her in the face, knocking her off her feet.

Baxley Police Chief James Godfrey told WTOC-TV that the surveillance footage makes it clear the attack was unprovoked.

"I've been here, what, 41 years. Thirty of them as chief," Godfrey said. "I have never seen anything like this. I've never heard of anything like this."

Police are currently looking for the suspects, who have been identified as Nathaniel Eric Smith and Latasha M. Smith. The couple have warrants for aggravated battery and cruelty to children, WTOC reported.

Who is calling this a hate crime? do we have any white people beating up black people over cold chicken for reference?

I'm in total agreement. Although it may come across as perpetuating one side vs. the other I'm really just asking honest questions based on recent (within the last 15 years) boundaries drawn by millions of Americans.

It's fascinating where we are politically. A cop, a guy who protects us from us and shows remorse and is clearly trying to come to terms with the fact he just shot someone on video, is persecuted to no end by the public at large just because he is wearing a badge and is assumed to have shot someone based on the color of their skin yet an actual act of brutality by one skin color to another occurs and it's just that... an act of brutality.

No marches, no riots, just... arrest them and forget it.

There's something very, very interesting about that.

There are a lot of holes to poke in the narrative. But that "means you're a racist."

Actually he was persecuted by the County prosecutor and the City opted to spend 3.5 million in a settlement .

I agree .... if you arrest cops who break the law or endanger the pubic they are supposed to protect. ... arrest them and forget it. ... no riots, no marches
