But you understand the issue with enabling it and the potential future ramifications that may come about, right?

To me, it's always seemed pretty clear that this "alt-right," is maintained at a core level by racists who are constantly pushing the boundaries of what they can publicly say, do, and get away with. That isn't going to be stopped by this current administration.
The administration shouldn't stop them from what they have to say. People can be free to mock them all they want. That would have been the best defense against white nationalists all along. Look at these morons and their stupid torches. Using violence against them only makes them grow.

Hitchens would do this. Just watched an interview from the 90s.

I've got sargon of akkad and Jared Taylor queued up.

There was a nazi meet years ago and someone cleverly came up with the idea that for every step marched, they would fundraise x amount of dollars for a charity.. Check this out

For sure. I think a lot of people are going about trying to stop it in the wrong way though.

Like, I remember Richard Spencer getting a lot of media attention and a big spotlight being put on the alt-right while that was happening. I don't think the whole "they're all nazis" approach is a good idea either because then "you're a Nazi" becomes the next "you're a racist" and it gets overused and loses meaning.

Like @TyGuy said I think mocking them is the best approach. By making them out to be "scary" or "evil" I think it gives the group a cool factor that attracts more people.

Yeah, I read about that. Brilliant idea.

Violence is the lowest common denominator. I prefer people to be clever in ruining the lives of assholes.

That's easier to say as someone who wouldn't be directly affected by their agenda. And it would have been far easier to say before they got their guy in the White House.

With the white conservative guys having all agreed that leftists and SJW's suck, that white people are being victimized and that they (the white conservatives) are not hateful for feeling or speaking the truth...

And the white liberal guys and black guys have agreed that the conservative guys aren't getting any of their points and have ulterior motives for most of their claims...

What's new to talk about in here?

I'm still curious for the, "What's Next" conversation?

I've asked in the past, assume everyone accepts the pretext for the sake of having the conversation, and move on. Like, where's it all going? And not cutesy shit, but like, what's the ask? Not emotional asks, but something actionable? I mean nothing short by that either. I just mean, things like, "for black lives to matter too" isn't really something actionable. So finish out that thought, "for black lives to matter too by doing / changing ...." Like, what's the ideas?

We're getting stuck on the pretext, IMO. I think it's crazy that instead the argument is over what word is used (I'm trying pretext this time in the hopes it's acceptable).

sorta like his video games

38 Studios had some good work that was coming out at the end. Group I played w/ had good connection w/ Curt. He came to a few of our conferences. Unfortunately, I didn't make that one, but heard from the others that he was a pretty nice guy. My wife met him and got his signature, she is (was...i'm converting her) a Bosox fan. :)

Well, it all started with police reform, and for justice departments to stop getting cops off for the unjust actions being taken against African Americans.

Which still hasn't happened.

Let's not pretend there were never any actionable things being talked about.

What is the point here?
A Sudanese immigrant shoots up a predominately white Christian church and it won't be more than a blip on the mainstream media's radar. When Dylann Roof shot up a predominately black church it was a national outrage, monuments came down, there was outrage over the confederate flag, etc. This doesn't suit the agenda so the story will be buried.
