Bosh trade

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
too late- so did he mention any team?

9:18:--LeBron James is trying to convince Chris Bosh to join him and play for Cleveland, according to ESPN's Chris Broussard.

LeBron wants to stay with the Cavs, Broussard said, but part of the reason for the delay in his decision is that he is waiting to see if he can convince Bosh to play in Cleveland. In order for the Cavs to get Bosh, they will likely need to negotiate a sign-and-trade with Bosh's former team, the Toronto Raptors.

"It can happen, it's just a matter of convincing Chris Bosh to agree to it," Broussard said on Mike & Mike in the Morning on Tuesday.

If LeBron is recruiting him...I think we have a good shot.

I agree. Bosh talks about how he wants to be "the man" on his new team, but he's shown over and over again through this FA process that he's more of a follower than a leader. He's perfect for that #2 co-star role, both in personality and in game. I think it's just a matter of whether Dwyane or Lebron sells it better (well, whether Lebron can sell him on the Cavs well enough to overcome the fact that Bosh would rather live in the city of Miami probably).

Cle In: Chris Bosh
Tor In: Anderson Varejao, JJ Hickson, Delonte West, Jamario Moon

Cle In: Tyson Chandler, Boris Diaw
Cha In: Antawn Jamison, Daniel Gibson

Re-sign Shaq.
Sign Z with the BAE.
Sign Mike Miller with the MLE.

Mo/Telfair/LeBron
Miller/Parker
LeBron/Miller/Jawad
Bosh/Diaw
Chandler/Shaq/Z/Bosh

The center position would be pretty injury prone, which is a concern. Maybe bring Kaun over just in case? He'd at least get some practice time/garbage minutes in the NBA.

OR

Cle In: Chris Bosh

Cle In: Josh Childress
Atl In: Shaq

Sign Jermaine O'Neal with the MLE.
Sign Z with the BAE.
Bring Kaun over.

Mo/Boobie/Telfair
Childress/Parker
LeBron/Childress/Jawad
Bosh/Jamison/Jawad
O'Neal/Z/Bosh/Kaun

Helps limit Jamison's minutes and preserve his body. Same with Parker, no more 30+ minute games for him. JON has been pretty healthy lately, so I'm comfortable going in with him starting. Z would still get 10-15mpg and Kaun would get the garbage time minutes.

One of those two please:cool:

I don't think Z would come back as a 3rd string center, and I don't know whether Shaq is open to not starting anymore.

Z would be a 3rd string center but not really. Chandler and Shaq are both biiiiiig injury risks, so I don't think he'd actually be playing 3rd stringer minutes. And even so, is any team going to give him the back up role? I'm not sure about that.

If Shaq isn't willing to go to the bench then he can go fuck himself and it's clear his ego would is still an issue. The problem with starting him is he is GOING to fall off this year - though to what extent is anyones guess - and I'd rather avoid starting a new center later in the season. What if his body breaks down and he falls off 3/4 the way through the year? Then we have to implement a new starter before the playoffs begin. Shaq to Chandler wouldn't be a huge change, but it should be avoided if at all possible.

This part is important too... Raptors have said they would participate. So it is now just up to Bosh (and the King :king:)
